Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Java is the sweetest boy who was rescued from the Memphis euthanasia room with just moments to spare. This little guy is eager to please and is a true people pleaser! He does great in his crate when his people are around and will settle down quietly after a bit of initial crying when they leave. Java loves playing with his foster siblings and has even made valiant attempts to befriend the cats by offering his blankets and toys—though they haven’t quite caught on to the idea of tug of war! He’s incredibly gentle and takes treats with the utmost care. While he’s still learning to walk on a leash, his food motivation makes him a quick study for training. Java is house-trained and crate-trained, as long as he’s promptly taken outside upon your return. Although he gets a bit distracted when someone is nearby during potty time, he’ll wait until he’s alone to do his business. . He’s the perfect size for cuddling in or near your lap and is usually able to get up on the couch by himself. This lovable pup is guaranteed to occupy every corner of your heart. Java would thrive in any home, especially one with children or another dog-friendly pet.   Medical Notes: Neutered Microchipped Vaccinated Heartworm negative Maintained on monthly preventatives Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 29, 2025, 11:15 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Deja is an adorable, energetic, cuddly puppy. In classic puppy fashion, plays hard and then crashes. She is still learning what’s a toy and what’s not, but takes redirection very well. She loves playing with other dogs and is learning to pick up canine cues from her foster sister. Deja is trying so hard on her potty training; when we go outside, she immediately pees. Then she gets a treat and pretends to pee multiple times in a row for extra treats :D On multiple occasions Deja has indicated that she wasn’t ready to come inside, ran off to go #2 in the yard, and then ran back to the house. She still has accidents in the house (pee only) but is getting better everyday.  The best thing about Deja is the cuddles. This puppy is a velcro dog who prefers a lap over any bed. She is happiest when she’s curled up with a human.  Deja has a fun personality and isn’t shy when she meets new people. She’s trying so hard to catch her own tail, she loves chasing stray leaves blowing across the yard, and she’s discovering her bark. She loves soft toys (especially if they roll) and is even willing to play fetch for a little bit, but she definitely needs good bones laying around to satisfy her natural instinct to chew.  Deja is a wonderful little pup who needs to find her forever home quickly so her new family doesn’t miss out on seeing this girl in her goofy puppy stage!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 15, 2025, 4:26 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Felicia has come out of her shell so much in the few months she has been in foster! She is more curious friendly and confident. She met Santa, and  has been attending adoption events with her. In her foster home she  & her sister Rayla are a joy to watch playing in the yard and being goofy and enjoying their freedom. Inside they play gently together when they aren't curled up together taking a nap.  Rayla and Felicia are looking for their forever home(s)! They may do well separately, we are working with them on that, but if you have space for 2.. they will bring the entertainment! They are both medium/smaller in size 25-30 lbs each, crate trained, house trained and spayed.  Rayla and Felicia were pulled from a high kill shelter 11/9/24 they were believed to be feral, but thankfully a volunteer was able to get them out of their kennel and get a few good videos showing how sweet, playful but scared they were.  Please let us know if you have any questions on Felicia, or if you are considering adoption - Please complete the link below! https://LastChancePetRescueInc.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=7215Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 10, 2025, 9:24 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Like a lot of us.. public places, are stressful and anxiety inducing for Rayla. She doesn't show well (or at all if she's hiding under a chair) at adoption events, and she can be timid and fearful with men. However, once she's back in her comfort zone her alter ego comes out and she is a completely different dog. If you had a chandelier and she could reach it.. she'd be swinging from it... ok, that's an exaggeration, but she does make sure to show you how much she appreciates you by full body wags, and presenting you with her belly to rub, you're welcome. She's one of those dogs that just has a happy & upbeat vibe. See that adoring look.. that's for you.    Aside from public events, not much seems to dull this girl's spark. Rayla has an old injury that according to the vets likely happened when she was a puppy. Unfortunately it has healed in the wrong position, in order to fix or remove the leg she would have to have an invasive surgery that could be more traumatic than necessary. While it looks a little awkward, she doesn't seem to be in any pain. The only time she seemed to experience any discomfort is when she first got to her foster home's backyard after being kept kenneled in a scary shelter for 2 weeks with no yard access. To say she and her sister Felicia had some built up energy to release would be an understatement. She will occasionally use the leg for stabilization when running and playing with her sister, but doesn't rely on it.   Rayla and Felicia are looking for their forever home(s)! They may do well separately, we are working with them on that, but if you have space for 2.. they will bring the entertainment! They are both medium/smaller in size adult dogs 20-25 lbs each, crate trained, house trained and spayed.  Please contact us with any questions or if you are interested in meeting / adopting please complete an application at the link below: https://LastChancePetRescueInc.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=7215 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 10, 2025, 8:40 pm

Story
We are delighted to say that during this beautiful season of renewal and friendship and family bonding, we have 8 precious little Border Collie/Aussie mix puppies that are looking for a fresh and forever start to their life. Born about the middle of October to a beautiful Aussie mix mom, these babies were fortunately taken in by a senior couple who nurtured them for 7 weeks.  Now these precious beauties are in individual foster homes and learning so much as they grow.  5 boys and 3 girls.  They are handled and cuddled so much!  No fear issues have touched their spirit!   Mom is a 45 pound white and black beauty and we expect each of these smart pups to be in the 45-50 pound range as an adult.  If you were interested in adopting, please right to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com  ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. Story
My name is Ellie Belle and I am a fun and happy little Border Collie, mix puppy who was born around the end of October 2024 and as of Feb. 18, I weigh 25 pounds.  They say that I am on my way to being a 46-50 pound adult Princess. I have been carefully looking for just the right family to call my own.  I am housebroken, crate trained and I am a very good and sweet little girl who meets new people very well and with no shyness.   I love playing with other dogs and would be fine with cats if I need to live and with one or two!  I was raised in foster care with young children too and I would be happy to grow up with children in the home.  That is looking for a brand new family and home.Right now, in the first weeks of 2025 critter, cavalry Rescue is preparing me to make a family very happy with all of my puppy, wiggles and cuddles and kisses playful antics.  I will need a good secured yard to run in.And I sure would love to have children or another dog or even cat friends to keep me company.  Raising a puppy is a serious commitment, and I promise to make it as easy as possible. But there will be some fun challenges and you need a little patience when you are going through the training stages with a puppy like me.  I currently have a doggie door that I use to go outside and I do it perfectly!  I walk really nicely when you use a harness and my foster mom says I am a smart and eager to please little girl that loves to snuggle and to be your shadow.  I am curious and I do ride well in a car when you go on little trips or excursions around town.   I really am sweet and I love my foster family and their dogs.   I am going to grow up to be a 45 to 50 pound dog like my mom who is an Aussie/ Border Collie Mix with a great and easy going personality that is happy and very submissive.  I am in Nashville, Tennessee right now in a wonderful foster home that is teaching me all the house manners and crate training that I should have.  If  you in the northeast of Tennessee,  I can ride the transport van and join a family just about any weekend. If you are interested, please write to Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Be sure to mention where you live: city and state.  There is a small transport fee if I am going to come northward.    PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.February 19, 2025, 9:35 pm
