Story
I acquired Zuko, a Border Collie, on February 11, 2024. He was born on November 28, 2023, and comes from the reputable breeder TN Border Collies in Tennessee. Zuko is an intelligent and energetic dog who has mastered basic commands and enjoys playing fetch for extended periods. While he is a wonderful companion, I am unable to provide the space he needs to thrive. I am seeking a new home for Zuko with owners who meet two key requirements: 1. Access to a spacious yard where he can run and play freely. 2. Owners who can dedicate time to engaging him through play or have children who can interact with him regularly. Zuko’s ideal environment is one that matches his high energy and need for activity.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Felicia & her sister Rayla were pulled from a high kill shelter 11/9/24 they were believed to be feral, but thankfully a volunteer was able to get them out of their kennel and get a few good videos showing how sweet, playful but scared they were.  Felicia is very timid and needs/is receiving work on socialization. She is doing wonderfully and the vet technicians when she went in for her spay said she is just so sweet. She has only barked a couple times in her foster home. She is looking for a forever home who can continue to work on her socialization and let her be the bestest sweet girl she can be! Please let us know if you have any questions on Felicia, or if you are considering adoption - Please complete the link below! https://LastChancePetRescueInc.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=7215Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 2, 2024, 9:12 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, I'm Rayla and my foster mom pulled me and my sister Felicia just in time! No one wanted us in the shelter we were at, we were so scared they thought we were feral! No one looked at us and we only got out of kennel one time to play, that day was the most fun we had in weeks!! I also came in with a broken leg from when I was a little puppy that has healed strangly,  but foster mom took me to the vet and they told her I was A-Okay since I only use it for stabilization & it doesn't hurt. I can play, jump, and run really fast with my sister so they said in the future, if it gets painful, then I may need to lose a limb & it would be a big surgery. I'm okay with how it is now.  I grew up with it this way. I'm 8- 10 months old, and I love to play with my sister Felicia when we're outside. The vet says I might be part beagle and border collie but I've heard a beagle bark, and I sound different. I'm told I'm a good girl because I haven't pottied inside the house, whatever that means.  When I'm inside, I like to follow (and sometimes trip on accident) my foster mom around. I help keep watch over the laundry, cooking, cleaning and even when someone goes to the bathroom. I'm working on my manners, but I'm still a puppy. I would love to go in a home with a playmate to keep me company, or maybe a family that's active that would keep me busy. If you have any questions - please let our foster mom know, or you can apply to take me home with the link below!  https://LastChancePetRescueInc.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=7215 Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 15, 2024, 2:37 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Java is the sweetest boy who was rescued from the Memphis euthanasia room with just moments to spare. This little guy is eager to please and is a true people pleaser! He does great in his crate when his people are around and will settle down quietly after a bit of initial crying when they leave. Java loves playing with his foster siblings and has even made valiant attempts to befriend the cats by offering his blankets and toys—though they haven’t quite caught on to the idea of tug of war! He’s incredibly gentle and takes treats with the utmost care. While he’s still learning to walk on a leash, his food motivation makes him a quick study for training. Java is house-trained and crate-trained, as long as he’s promptly taken outside upon your return. Although he gets a bit distracted when someone is nearby during potty time, he’ll wait until he’s alone to do his business. . He’s the perfect size for cuddling in or near your lap and is usually able to get up on the couch by himself. This lovable pup is guaranteed to occupy every corner of your heart. Java would thrive in any home, especially one with children or another dog-friendly pet.   Medical Notes: Neutered Microchipped Vaccinated Heartworm negative Maintained on monthly preventatives Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 18, 2024, 8:02 pm

Story
Please contact Vivienne (viviennejames@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.Meet Charlie Barkley.  He is a sweet, playful awesome dog who is very easy to love.  He walks on a leash but needs additional training as he pulls.  He knows some basic commands but does need a bit more training.  Charlie is a 1 to 1 1/2 year old neutered male who weighs approximately 52 lbs.  He was originally adopted by a family that decided they no longer wanted him so they dumped him in a south Nashville neighborhood.  Charlie was found by a nice family that took him but cannot keep him because they have older cats.  They would love to add him to their family but it just win't work out.  He's been vet checked,  is current on his vaccines and is in excellent health.  Charlie is full of puppy energy and ready to play ball with the children.  He needs a younger active and energetic family who can  give him the exercise and play that he needs.  A fecned in yard is a MUST for Charlie.  When not playing, by the way ball is his favorite game, he loves to snuggle and get belly rubs. Charlie is patiently waiting for his forever family to find him.  He would be a great family dog and love to have a home for the holidays.  To be considered for his forever fmaily and to request an application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.    November 19, 2024, 11:40 am

Story
We are calling them "Border Bullies"! Mama is a Border Collie, dad is a Pit Bull! I cannot imagine how smart these pups will be! They were born on October 13th. The owner of Nelly (mom) and Bruce (dad) unfortunately wound up in jail and obviously couldn't take care of this little family so they were surrendered to us on the day they were born. Both mom and dad have beautiful temperaments so I am quite sure these pups will be amazing! They will be available for adoption by January 11, 2025. They are all spayed/neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. How can you resist!! ADOPTION FEE $525
