He is shy in new environments as he is trying to figure things out but with a confident pet parent/staff member/or volunteer he quickly begins to explore his surroundings. We do not have any history of Scott with children or cats, and he can be selective when finding new canine friends so if you currently have a dog at home it would be best if you bring them in for a meet and greet to see if the two of them would get along. He has done playgroups with other dogs and he would prefer to just follow the person around the yard...instead of play with the other dogs.Scott is a very sweet boy! Spend some time with him and who knows.....you could be his person.

we are having a baby and have been trying to get rid our dog. We do not the time or skills to finish her training and we will not be able to give her the proper attention she wants with a new baby on the way. Her name is Ellie, she is a border collie mix, she is around 4 or 5 years old, she's kennel trained, just needs to update her shots, she is a little nervous around new people. She's OK with cats not sure about dogs. Most importantly she is free and will come with her leash, kennel, bed, other dog accessories we have, and the remaining food we have. My daughter got married and relocated out of state into an apartment that does not allow pets, so we are trying to find a new home for Brandy on my daughter's behalf.
