When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. He really needs a home where he can run and exercise. A fenced yard is a must, a farm would be amazing for him. He also needs mental stimulation as he is incredibly smart and intelligent and can learn things quickly with someone willing to put the time in. He is not treat-motivated but I have had really good success using the ball as a training reward and motivator. He is loving and affectionate and loyal. He makes an excellent outdoor adventures companion and would thrive with someone active who will take him out in the car and for hikes or runs. He is a happy and excited boy who loves life and loves his humans. Someone familiar with active and intelligent dogs who understands his energy and mental stimulation needs would be best.
