Story
Hello, my name is Echo! I am a German Shepherd mixed with border collie, I am a year and a half old. I am very calm and love attention, but I am very protective. I have had one owner which is my mom. I have 3 human siblings and 2 dog siblings that I play with everyday all day long. I love laying around the house but I love being able to go outside and run.

Story
Red is between a year and two years old. He is very sweet and will crawl into your lap if you let him. He came to my house as a stray and quickly became friends with my family and other dogs. The problem is that he is an escape artist, capable of leaping/climbing six foot high fences. He needs a secure yard to live in, preferably with people around to keep him company. He is not house-trained because he has been entirely an outside dog except for sleeping in the barn at night. He gets along well with other dogs. He has not been around cats. He has shown a lot of curiosity about our miniature donkeys but has never tried chasing them. He is a very sweet and smart dog and seems to like all people he meets.

Story
Looking for a dutifully loyal dog? Lydia is your gal. This mature girl was set to be euthanized at another shelter due to a persistent leg injury. The leg had to be amputated but Lydia doesn't seem to realize anything is missing and you barely will either! She is a major fetch enthusiast and often outruns all other dogs to get the ball.  Lydia tends to build strong and incredibly unwavering bonds to those she trusts and would do anything for her people. She is currently paired with our long-term deaf resident Rodeo. These two have been attached at the hip since the day they met, almost as if they understand each other's struggles. Staff often sees Lydia nudging Rodeo in order to wake him up to play! If this intelligent and active girl sounds like the perfect fit for your lifestyle, call the Ranch to meet her today! Read more about Miss Lydia here: https://rrdog.org/two-lonely-special-needs-dogs-pair-up-and-become-best-pals-ever/ Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert. All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       November 6, 2024, 10:05 pm

Story
Meet Danica!  This friendly and affectionate young girl loves making new friends of all shapes and sizes! She's an expert in play groups and fits well with most dogs so she would thrive in a multi-dog household! Danica has grown up here at the rescue and is ready to break free and join your family! She would love a home that can show her the world give her lots of cuddles and treats. Call the Ranch to come meet her today!   Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),  and a portion of the cost will be refunded.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Very smart, friendly and outgoing Australian Kelpie pup!Meet Rosco! Rosco was a stray dog found when he was just a tiny pup when he had fallen into a neighbor's swimming pool. Fortunately, Rosco knew how to swim and was keeping himself afloat until rescue came! Neighbors scooped him up and he was no worse off for his adventure. His foster family took him in and he has been busy having adventures ever since. Rosco is a very friendly and confident little guy who loves to play with his foster mates, both male and female puppies, as well as older adult dogs. He is not at all shy and has lots of energy and he's pretty fearless. He has beautiful eyes and also loves to be picked up and snuggled. Rosco is VERY smart and we think he will benefit from having an adopter who can channel his energy and intelligence with obedience training to make him the best dog buddy he can be.  To meet Rosco in person, visit this link to submit an application: https://woofsandwagsdogrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=3225Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 5:43 pm

Story
Adorable and Fun Personality, Pure Bred Blue Heeler - Australian Cattle Dog Fostering Ruby for a friend who moved. We would keep her but we have too many animals. 14 months old, 34 pounds, energetic, extremely affectionate, and really smart and incredibly strong with superstar herding potential! She has been teaching herself how to herd our goats. Wants to please with obedience. If she does not get it right the first time, she will not give up. She is crate-trained, knows basic commands, and does a few tricks. Ruby is a great watch dog, is a fearless protector, but still likes people and kids. She has a strong food and prey drive so training is easy. She is usually submissive around other dogs and loves to play after introductions have been made. Has all her shots and records and is NOT spayed. We love her and know you will, too.

Story
Sophie is a sweet dog but our schedules have gotten too busy to give her the attention that she needs. It would be better if she had some land to run around on but if she's walked regularly then she can get her energy out that way. She is great with kids and other animals. She is just over 5 years old.
