Coa is a sweetheart with boundless energy! He loves to play and run and would be a perfect hiking buddy given a bit of training and socializing! He’s a bit anxious, but has a heart of gold. He gets along well with cats but may try to play and is unaware of his intimidating size. He takes a minute to warm up to new dogs but gets along well after he gets comfortable - just a few days to feel fully comfortable. He’s highly trainable and loves to learn!

Story
Meet Piper, a vibrant and affectionate 3-year-old mixed breed filled with energy and love! While she adores playing with fellow dogs and has a playful spirit, she also thrives on cuddles and sweet moments at home. Unfortunately, due to a past incident during a walk involving a minor bite, we believe Piper would be best suited for a dog-savvy home without children, ideally with other dogs and in a space that allows her to run and play freely. Our urban living situation limits her opportunities for exercise, and with our plans to grow our family, we feel it’s in Piper's best interest to find a new home where she can truly flourish. We deeply love Piper and want to ensure she has a happy, fulfilling life, and we’re committed to finding her the perfect match where she can thrive.

He is very patient with kids, but he does better with adults and kids 10 years and older, he tends to plays too rough with little kids. Charlie is a high energy dog, so he needs a good amount of walking and exercising.

Story
This cutie is Layla. She is currently 14 pounds, 12 weeks old, and we think they may be a Border Collie mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves her life as well as the life of another in its place. Layla is playful, sweet, curious, and cuddly. She loves to play with her sibling and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Layla is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, they will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood. You will be guaranteed to get lots of kisses in return from your new best friend! Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/673250323c0f3d94170e1384 Please email katiak@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO,UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $1,000.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 6 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport. Story
Brenda is a beautiful, happy young girl who found herself at a high kill shelter through no fault of her own. The staff begged for her to be saved from euthanasia. She is great with other dogs and doesn't bother cats. She is the sweetest girl who will make a great hiking companion and also a great cuddle buddy. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but she can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 2, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative) Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

Story
Hi, meet the most unique stunning dog around, Panda. His coat is so unique and that face, wow! looks like a “panda”e? lol. what a handsome boy! He's 1-2yrs old, a very loving sweet boy, yet still seems quite cautious about his surroundings after spending a month at doggie jail. Thanks to his heartless owner. Panda needs time and a safe cozy home environment to decompress and getting the confident happy himself back. He also has a nubby tail. The poor boy was dumped by his owner to a highkill shelter due to the same old “no time” reason, and was about to be euthanized for space. Every dog deserves 2nd chance we had to save this super unique looking beauty! He can be defensive at first when meeting new dogs, a bit assertive and pushy with no play style, but with proper introduction, Panda actually gets along with most dogs, boy and girls. The gorgeous boy will have heads turning with this cutie pie on your arm! He's neutered, vaccinated and chipped so he's ready to have an amazing forever home! Get your application in ASAP, Panda is waiting for a real family to love! Currently in Southern California, but can be transported up to northern states, such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and other close by states, if a great suitable family is willing to adopt him/her.

Story
Meet super handsome boy Zulu! He is a 2-3 yrs old very sweet and loving dream dog! Here’s why: Zulu loves people and kids so much, definitely a people’s dog! He loves other dogs, both big and small ones! He’s also cat friendly! He is house trained. He’s full of energy and will chase balls but also likes to just play with the ball by himself. He also enjoys chewing bones when chilling in his bed. He will get a bit anxious when you leave the house because he loves people so much that he wants to be your little shadow to follow you everywhere. He is calm and mellow, mostly remains quiet, will only bark if the other dog barks at him first. Zulu was rescued from a highkill shelter right before euthanasia. His holiday wish is a loving forever home 🏡 to call his own! Zulu has been neutered, microchipped and currently on vaccines. He is ready to join your pack! Are you ready for him?? Currently in Riverbank, but can be transported up to northern states, such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and other close by states, if a great suitable family is willing to adopt him.
