Story
Need a friend that will be by your side and support you in any and everything? Look no further than Gomez! Doing dishes? He`s there to help you make sure they`re clean. Want to go for a work or run? He`s certainly very excited to do it with you! Need a pet that`s gentle yet loves your kids? Gomez!Gomez is an incredibly sweet, loves EVERY ONE, and about 40 pounds of warmth for cuddling. He`s so smart that in less than a month in foster he has learned to sit and `wait` even when food is around. He tolerates other dogs but needs a slow introduction. He would rather love to be the center of attention and be in an active home.

Story
This precious boy lost the only home he knew when his family moved.  He is also battling heartworms but all of his bad luck has ended now.  Shadow is a 5 year old border collie/heeler mix (best guess) and is truly one of the sweetest pups we have met in a long time.  He is affectionate and obedient.  He goes around to greet all the other dogs each time he goes outside for potty break.  He always has a smile and a wagging tail!  We just know that his perfect family is out there - someone that will give him the loving home he deserves.  If that might be you (fingers crossed!) our applications are at www.carerescueok.org! ##2098780##

Story
Hi, I’m Spice, and if you think life is bland, I’m here to sprinkle a little spunk—and a whole lot of love—into your world! I’m Spice, a sprightly 3-month-old bundle of joy, and let’s be real—this is the perfect age to welcome a puppy! I’m just the right mix of "still learning" and "I’m ready for anything," so I’m not stuck in my ways and super eager to soak up all the love and fun life has to offer. I adore people, which probably has more to do with my sparkling personality than my age, but hey, I’m not complaining! If you’re within a 10-foot radius, expect me to try and squeeze into your lap—I mean, who doesn’t want a cutie like me in their lap, right? I get excited when you come home and let's just say that jumping is my love language, and I get along with everyone—other dogs, cats (those purrinators), and even kids. Seriously, I’m basically the perfect, tail-wagging, cuddle-loving, zoomie machine of a pup! Right now, I’m a little over 16lbs, so don’t worry, I won’t be a giant! I’m guessing I’ll top out around 60lbs, maybe a little less, which makes me the perfect size for road trips, hikes, and family adventures. I’m super excited to get out and about with my people, but I still need a little help in the car—those big girl legs are still in development! As for public outings, I haven’t had much experience... unless you count the vet, but honestly, I don't. That place is not my idea of fun, especially since the last time I was there I was battling Parvo like a champ—but don’t worry, I beat it! Now I’m all better and ready to take on the world. I’m a social butterfly who would love to check out cafes, parks, and whatever else comes my way. Leash walking? Well, let’s just say we’re still getting to know each other. I’m not sure why it insists on controlling my movements, but I’m a quick learner, and I just know I’ll figure it out soon! I’m believed to be a Border Collie mix, which means I’m practically a sponge for learning new things (and let’s be honest, I’m pretty quick at it too!). It also means I’m totally devoted to my people—whether we’re out on an adventure or just snuggling on the couch in a cozy moment. I’d say I’m a perfect mix of calm and playful—ready to zoom around with other dogs for a bit, but after I’ve burned off that energy, I’m all about napping and finding a comfy spot to crash. As for apartment life, I think I could totally rock it, as long as you’re around a lot to keep me entertained. I’ve got my “big girl voice” going, so I might announce my presence if I see something suspicious in the complex... but I promise I’m just trying to keep everyone safe (and I may or may not get distracted by a squirrel). I’m still a pup, so potty training is a work in progress, but I’ve already mastered the doggie door—look at me go! I’ve slept in a kennel, but I haven’t had the door shut on me yet, and so far, I’ve been pretty good about not chewing anything I shouldn’t. That said, you might want to puppy-proof your home—just in case I decide to test out my “chewing the world” phase! ;) Well, that’s all the “Spice” you need to know about me—now let’s add a little flavor to your life together! Just remember, adopters will need to come pick me up in Sand Springs—sorry, no doggie Uber for me, we don’t send our pups on transport! Spice
