Story
Intake Date: 20 October 2024 -------- Age at intake: DOB May 2020----- Breed: Border Collie/Pyrenees mix ----- Size: 65 lbs ----- Status: Owner Surrender ----- Compatible With: Dogs, Children, no cats. ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard or farm home. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: Shy in new places ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Finn! Finn came to rescue with his sister Bellah. We recommend puppies are never placed together due to littermate syndrome and these two may be strongly codependent because of it but we are slowly working on independence. Their family moved to town and they had nowhere to go. They were on our wait list for several months as we hoped they would be able to find placement but they ended up with us when space was available. Finn is a cutie with the best smile. He loves treats and knows sit well :) His ideal home would be out in the country and with a big soft couch that he can lounge on! Even better would be if he could go to that home with his sister. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is required.
