Story
Mario is a border collie mix and came to the shelter in June as a stray. We think he`s about seven years old, and he weighs about forty-three pounds. He`s timid at first, but given time, patience, and a few treats, and he warms up. He`s very food-motivated and loves his treats and kongs. He`s patient in the bath and in the car. He also knows sit and down. We think he would do well in a home with respectful kids, twelve and up.

These pups are in Syracuse, New York too!

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $150 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Millie, a 26-pound bundle of energy and love! This 8-month-old Beagle-Heeler mix has a heart as big as her playful spirit. Whether she’s chasing after a ball, splashing in the water, or going on a hike, Millie’s enthusiasm is infectious. She’s always up for an adventure, but after a day of fun, she’ll happily snooze the rest of the day away—right by your side, of course! Millie is sweet and gentle with everyone she meets—kids, dogs, cats—you name it! She’s a little shy at first, especially around new people and dogs, but with a bit of patience, she blossoms into a loyal and playful companion. Watching her come out of her shell and show off her happy self is truly heartwarming. Millie’s already learning the ropes with commands like “sit,” “come,” and “drop it.” She’s also housetrained and crate-trained, making her the perfect addition to an active home that loves long walks and playtime. If you’re looking for a small, sweet, and adventurous dog who will be your best friend through thick and thin, Millie is ready to steal your heart! Meet this dog at Petco on Saturday, Nov 16th from 1-4 pm CST at Petco, 377 W. Jackson St #11 Cookeville, TN 38501.   Interested in adopting? Take the first step and complete an adoption application on our website: http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-apps/ If you have questions that are not covered in the profile, visit the Pet Inquiry Form: http://aarf-tn.com/contact/pet-inquiry-form/. THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption. November 17, 2024, 11:55 am
