Story
What do you get when you mix a Border Collie/Aussie mom and a Husky dad?  This guy! Marsh was born around the middle of July and his situation for the first few weeks of his life was pretty rough - living in a dirty, unkempt backyard where there were multiple adult dogs and a couple of litters of puppies.  Hard clay dirt and no grass with no clean water and on top of that, almost no human contact.  Luckily Critter Cavalry was able to step in and help Marsh and his siblings, along with their mama.   They all came to live in a nice foster home where they quickly learned that there was so much more to life than what they had previously known!  Marsh has stunning brown and cream coloring, with touches of white, and mesmerizing eyes. We expect his adult weight to be in the 50 pound spectrum as an adult. Marsh is the clown of his litter, the attention getter and mischief maker (in a cute way). He leads the others in their games of tug and catch-me-if-you-can, and they happily let him lead the pack.  He pesters his mama until she reaches the end of her patience. When his foster mom sits down with the litter, Marsh is the first one to nose into her lap, trying to get ALL the attention. Marsh has also inherited the husky trait of 'talking' from his dad, so some very unique sounds come out of his mouth.  Anyone familiar with Huskies knows how interesting it can be to hear them talk. With his stellar good looks and engaging personality, you cannot help but fall in love the second you meet this special boy.   If you are interested in adopting one of the most adorable puppies around, consider contacting Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com. He will be ready to hop on the van in Nashville October 12th and ride to meet a new family who will take him home to love for the rest of his life. Hold on to your horses and get ready for Marsh to invade your life in all the good and fun ways. Fenced yard is required.           PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comOctober 4, 2024, 11:09 am

www.TheLastResortRescue.com PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING THIS PET THE FIRST STEP IS TO FILL OUT OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION AVAILABLE AT THELASTRESORTRESCUE.COM. If you have a question or inquiry please email us at tlrapplications@gmail.com   Fiona, our beautiful Fiona, found herself being dumped at the kill shelter by her previous owner while she was IN ACTIVE LABOR with puppies. Just a year old herself at the time, she was just terrified and starting having puppies on the shelter floor. We needed to act quickly! Fast Fiona had 8 pups, 7 survived. Fiona was the BEST momma to all those giant puppies, even though she was just a baby herself. She has raised all her pups and has been in foster, decompressing from her previous life! She is such an amazing dog! She bonds quickly and deeply to her person, she's a Velcro dog, she just wants to be where you are. She likes other dogs, but doesn't necessarily require another dog. She is good with people, kids, other animals. However she was one of those ' kids having kids' so she still very puppy like herself.  She is housebroken and very well behaved!  She is Very attached to her foster family, and she is a deeply emotional dog. She is one in a million! We are looking for that one in a million human that will truly bond with her and be hers forever!  If you think that person is you, fill out the application today! We would love to speak to you and arrange a meet and greet with Fiona! She deserved to find her true ' Happily Ever After ' October 1, 2024, 1:43 pm

Story
A little over 2 months ago, Mia gave birth to 8 beautiful puppies. She has been a wonderful Mom to her babies and now it's time for everyone to find their forever homes. Mia has since been spayed so her Mommy days are over. Mia is a sweet, friendly girl who gets along with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. She looks like she has some Border Collie in her but she is less energetic than the typical Border Collies we see. Mia is about 4-5 years old and 35 pounds. Please help Mia find the loving home she deserves. Update: Mia tested positive for Ehrlicchia, another common tick borne disease similar to Lyme's. She is on a short course of oral antibiotic and is doing great. Mia is currently still available for adoption. Any remaining antibiotic will be sent home with her new family for completion. We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes. If you are interested in adopting, we encourage you to please submit an application on our website today so that we can try and process and pre-approve any potential adopters prior to our next adoption event. PLEASE USE THIS LINK TO SUBMIT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION. WE ONLY ACCEPT ADOPTION APPLICATIONS THROUGH OUR WEBSITE. ANY OTHERS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.
