Meet Bada🩵 At the end of June 2022, Bada was admitted to the shelter with a fractured front leg. Bandaged in the hot weather, his wound attracted flies, and upon examination after rescue, his bones were misaligned, requiring a second surgery. Now, his bones have healed well, and he is happily running around without any issues. 😊 * Interaction with People : Bada is extremely fond of people. He's a sweetheart to humans, always greeting them with a big smile, which is so adorable. ❤ * Interaction with Dogs: He can be assertive towards dogs who play rough, so caution is needed. Tends to avoid encountering dogs with whom he had a clash at the Center. * Potty Training: He's been doing outdoor potty at the Center. * Hygiene: He's cooperative with ear cleaning and doesn't resist. However, he might whine when getting his nails trimmed as he's not used to it, so regular walks to grind his nails are necessary. * Walking: He follows people without pulling on the leash. Sometimes, he may resist going where he doesn't want to, but with leash training, he'll likely improve quickly. * Car Sickness: He's fine in the car and doesn't experience motion sickness at all! 💌Special Notes💌 * Separation anxiety and toilet training are still unknown as he's been living in a group at the center. * He rarely barks unnecessarily, but sometimes, he may bark alertly at external noises. He stops when called. * Bada enjoys being with people and receiving love while resting, so a place where he can receive undivided attention would be ideal. ☺️ He also enjoys his alone time when needed!

Although he experienced lots of accidents and has tragic memories about his past, he is a human-loving dog who shows lots and lots of love and affection! *Toward dogs: Is an energetic dog who loves playing with dog friends. Small dogs may be afraid of him sometimes due to his upbeat personality, but he can become a gentle dog by training him to control his excitement! *Separation anxiety: Unknown as he is staying at the center. *Potty training: Only outdoor potties at the center. *Hygiene: Has not experienced proper hygiene care yet as he is recovering/ getting treatments after his surgery, but he took hygiene-related care very well before surgery! ☺️ *Walking: Enjoys walking, but needs training as he may get hyper-excited. *Car-sickness: Rides cars very well without carsickness! 🖤Rescue Story🤍 Rown was rescued from the streets. He urgently needed surgery as he ate stones and screws. His legs were also injured probably due to the tough street environment, so he also had leg surgery and is currently recovering well. Rown is looking for a forever family that can give him lots of love and help make him healthy again! 🙏🏻 💌Special Notes💌 *Is undergoing rehabilitation after his ankle surgery, but has recovered a lot and walks well now! He may need to receive continuous rehabilitation therapy. Completed ankle fracture surgery

Howdy from Texas, we are a 5-pack of beautiful Shepherd mix puppies, about 4 months old, about 25-30 lbs, and we are ready to find forever homes somewhere on the East Coast. It was a rainy day when we were found running down a street in San Antonio along with our mama when a nice lady stopped, opened her car door, and we happily jumped in. We were just little babies at the time but a couple of months later, here we are, doing great, safe and sound, being vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and having some fun at our foster home. My name is Oakley, I’m a lover-girl, I weigh 28 lbs, my mom is a pretty white Shepherd mix, and my dad must have been a Border Collie. I’m sweet and friendly, a bit shy at first, but make friends easily. All of us are playful and happy, and loving life, chasing doggy toys, romping and wrestling to our heart's content, then all pooped out for nap time. Hello wonderful people, my name is Tika and I’m a very pretty Border Collie / Australian Shepherd mix with super soft fur, graceful and gorgeous, about 1.5 years old and I weigh 40 lbs. I was found walking along the side of a busy highway in Kennedy Texas, picked up and brought to an elderly care facility where I flourished. I stayed for about a month and all the residents and staff loved me and the feeling was mutual, but regulations said no dogs allowed so I had to go. These days I am being fostered in San Antonio by the man who found me, and I have proven myself to be a very loyal and very smart girl. I’m great with everyone young and old, and other dogs too. I love playing with my dog friends and I enjoy retrieving balls, sticks, and frisbees, and playing tug-o-war. I know how to sit, go down, and give a paw on command, and if you point me in a direction, I know to go that way. When you tell me it's time for bed, I direct myself immediately to my designated area. I come with a medium energy level and a happy attitude, always wagging, eyes that sparkle and smile, and not to brag but I’m lovely. I’m fully housebroken and well-behaved, only bark to alert, and love going for walks and rides in the car. I enjoy being active as much as I enjoy snuggling up beside you sharing kisses and watching TV. When my foster dad goes to work for 8 hrs a day, I stay nicely in my room without fussing or freaking out. I’ve never been kept in a crate because I don't need one and at night I sleep on a doggy bed in my room. This is BEN! This 23 pounds and ~5 months old as of October. We think he’s a “Borador” (Lab/Border Collie mix). Ben is a typical happy puppy who loves to play, and gets along great with all dogs! We really have nothing more to say about him because he’s such a sweetie. Ben and some other puppies were found under a bridge with their mama (or another adult female dog, we don’t actually know if it was their mom) who were all dumped there. Our founder feeds a dog who lives under the bridge every day and someone must have known this and left these dogs for us to rescue.
