Story
Pepper. Over 1 year old. Border collie/heeler mix. 40 lbs. Beautiful and unique. Spay, shots November 2024. Microchip. From Animal foundation. Was a stray. Has separation anxiety that is improving. Active, playful. Loves fetch. Very sweet , devoted. However, Pepper is too anxious for me. I am a senior and got in over my head getting this puppy. I am busy outside of the home. Pepper has proven that she can not be left in the yard or outside of a crate (while in the house) =IF I am not there. = Crate trained. Needs a fence over 4 foot or one that been modified to prevent climbing. Needs safe items to chew on. She gets along great with my male dog about the same size. They play and hang out together. A buddy dog near her size is a must. She cannot be with small animals. (high prey drive). Her best attribute is always wanting to connect - a bit of a velcro dog. Kids over 10 OK. Very good on the leash. Rides well in the car. Rehome fee includes crate and toys.

Marley is great with cats and will bring her loving, laid-back personality to the right family. Skills & Training: Marley is potty-trained, kennel-trained, and leash-trained. How Striking is Jacoby! 🐾✨ Jacoby is a 1-year-old Border Collie mix who has been through so much in his young life. Recently saved from an overcrowded shelter, this sweet boy is scared and unsure about the world around him. Boarding is overwhelming for him, and he needs a quiet, loving foster home to decompress, gain confidence, and start to trust again. Jacoby’s perfect match is someone who: 💙 Can provide a peaceful environment to help him adjust at his own pace. 🐾 Will show him that life, love, and family aren’t so scary. 🛑 Understands that he’s still learning and will need support with potty training and basic skills. This journey won’t be quick or easy, but Jacoby is worth every bit of effort. With time and patience, he’ll blossom into the incredibl

Story
I need to find a new home for my dog, Koda, because my schedule is too busy, and I feel guilty for not giving her the attention and time she deserves. She’s a smart Border Collie mix who loves people and enjoys playing with other dogs. Koda can walk off-leash, knows how to swim, and has never been destructive. She’s fully trained, both indoors and outdoors, and the only thing is she can’t eat chicken. You won’t need to buy snacks, because she’s happy eating vegetables as treats. She follows commands and sleeps on her own bed. I wish I could keep her longer, but I’m not the right person to give her everything she needs. I truly hope someone who loves dogs can provide the care and attention she deserves.

Latte came to us pregnant and she was little more than a baby herself! She is finished with that job forever and is back to playing fulltime. Latte likes to play with other dogs, chase toys and fill her days with fun! She loves people and would be great with a home who doesn't mind working on her manners a bit since she is still very puppy-like in her antics. Latte is a great size at 33 lbs and she is approximately 15 months old. Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org

Story
A24896 Pebbles is approximately 1-year-old, 34-pound, spayed female, Border Collie mix. She was turned into the shelter after her owner left her with the person and never came back for her. She was spayed by our medical team. Our medical staff evaluated Pebbles for a previous pelvic fracture that has since healed. She walks with a limp and is unable to jump up but is otherwise a perfectly happy girl. Pebbles is a shy dog in her kennel. She doesn't walk really well on a leash, we don't think she has ever been exposed to a leash and walking much before. She doesn't like the other shelter dogs when outside her kennel. Pebbles does love squeaky toys and if you have one you see her eyes light up. She will need a home that has patience and understanding to help her be the best girl.

Lacey is 18 weeks 77% Australian shepherd, 13% Old English sheep dog, and 13% poodle. She’s in excellent health, weighs 18 pounds, loves children, able to perform simple commands, I was training her to be a service dog, and she has lots of energy. I would love to see her go to a young family who has the time and energy to keep up with her. I have a brand new crate, medium size bed, toys, feeding bowls, service dog vest, and treats to go with her. I love her but I’m a 74 year old female and she has too much energy for me.

Story
Louis (pronounced loo-wee) is a 3 year old mini Australian Shepherd weighing around 30lb. He is a very active dog that needs a lot of exercise and stimulation. He takes awhile to warm up to new people, but he is not aggressive. He has an anxious, but playful personality. He gets along with dogs (he loves the dog park), cats (we had 2 cats living with him), and kids (he grew up with my son). I’m unfortunately rehoming him because I recently started nursing school and it required me to be gone for more than 12 hours a day and he is a high maintenance dog that requires a lot of attention and exercise. Serious inquiries only please!
