This dog is fostered in Crystal MN. Ariel is a 7 month old super mutt puppy. She appears to have some Lab, Border Collie and other breeds. She weighs about 45 pounds and will likely be around 60 pounds as an adult. Ariel loves to play toys and with her dog friends. She walks on a leash and is used to being on a cable run in her foster home. She is a good girl and doesn’t bark at the horses. Ariel is learning to sit as well. She rides fine in the car too. Ariel is not yet fully house trained. She is good in a crate. She is learning and her new family will need to keep up that training. Ariel is a great puppy and will do well with a variety of new friends.

Rizza is a 39lb spayed female mix breed dog and is 3 years old. She is loving and kind with humans. She likes to bring you her toys to play tug of war or fetch. She will let you win sometimes (just for your self esteem). She loves sitting in laps and cuddling. She loves her people! She is also perfectly potty trained. No accidents since she came to stay 2 months ago. She also will sleep through the night 8 + hours. She was left to live outside for the last two winters in ND and attacked multiple times by large dogs. She will resource guard food/bones from other dogs in her home, so is best as an only dog. She does not resource guard from humans :) She can walk on a leash. She doesn't chew inappropriately. She is HW neg and vaccinated on on preventatives. In an indoor setting for two days with cats she was non-reactive and respectful, but outside when a cat runs she will chase. I am fostering her but she would love to be loved and cuddled by someone she can be devoted to.

She absolutely thrives on being given something to do to. Puzzle toys, flirt pole, training—yes please! Ballet is typical puppy so housetraining is a work in progress but she keeps her crate clean for the workday and overnight. She is fantastic with other dogs but will herd them playfully which doesn’t always go over well with some dogs especially the little ones. She has not been around cats but would need a proper introduction to them and reminders that they aren’t for play. Ballet is of the mindset that everything is for play! Due to her breed she would be best with older kids or a herding breed experienced home who understands the tendencies to heel nip and chase kiddos to tell them where to go. We are dumbfounded that she was there at our local city shelter for so long and no one came to claim her and no one wanted to adopt her. She is quite an awesome dog! She is smart and loving. She likes to give hugs and kisses. She loves to play with other dogs she would do great in a home with another dog that also loves to play. An active home would be great for her as well. She will need to have physical and mental stimulation in order to love a happy balanced life. She walks ok on leash. Some pulling but not too bad just needs a little twerking on the leash manners. She knows sit and her recall is pretty good. She is crate trained and house trained. Rocky is one cool little dude! He was found as a stray and it took a while for us to get him because he was not quite sure who he could trust after being left alone. A good Samaritan was able to gain his trust and bring him to us. He opened up pretty quickly to us and now enjoys his time at the shelter but is very ready for his own home. He is a small border collie/feist mix and is 4 years old. He is leash trained and loves to go on walks. He knows basic commands and sits perfectly without being told to. He would be a great dog for someone who is active. He is such a loving and happy little guy. You will not go wrong with Rocky.

Meet Marti! Marti is a 5 year old, neutered, double merle, male, who came to us almost completely feral. He is a slightly pudgy 40 pounds, crate trained, house broke (but still leaks a little urine when sleeping although we haven't tried medication for that yet as it has been improving). As he is double merle he has some vision issues as well. Marti will need a very special owner that is willing to give him plenty of time to learn to trust. At his foster home Marti gets along with other dogs, is great with cats, and walks off leash in a rural setting. Marti is that lower energy aussie everyone's looking for and would like a quiet home. Marti will need more training in cooperative Care which his foster is working on and is easy to implement. He needs a little bit of time and patience to warm up to new people and adjust to new environments, but once he's comfortable with you, you're his everything. Tanner has come a long way in his foster homes, learning to enjoy walks on the leash and rides in the car. Tanner would love a home with another dog to keep him company.
