She has the prettiest eyes which is the first thing everyone notices. She loves to be by you so if you are looking for a buddy she is it! She is also very food and treat motivated and loves to please. She walks very well on her leash but she is very interested in squirrels. She is 100% potty trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She is kennel trained and once you lead her in she sits and waits patiently for her treat. She stays quiet and doesn't fuss once in there. Her favorite things are toys, bones, and looking out the window.

Hi! My name is Tammy-Faye Pickles and I am from Arkansas. From her foster: “Faye- Faye” is what she is called most. She’s sure starting to love the Minnesota weather and is the best snuggler. Faye-Faye is super smart and is really good at redirecting. She’s very food motivated which makes training more breezy. She knows sit, lay down, and working on shake. She sits before being offered her food and when she needs her leash removed. She loves tummy rubs, her bones and finding the best branch to chew on. She also makes the cutest little snorting sound randomly and is getting better each day with potty training (consistent schedule) and crate training (with more daytime practice in the crate, she’s becoming much more comfortable, learning it’s a safe space to be alone). Faye-Faye’s working on being fully accepted by “the big man of the house” (a Great Dane resident dog) but is still learning good social skills. She’ll bark at him to play and I think it scares him 😜. She’s learning her manners with the little kids too, minimal puppy biting and jumping but does occasionally forget when she greets them first-thing in the morning as her excitement gets the best of her. With a “off” command, she listens. Faye-Faye was used to being with her mama and litter mates before entering our care, so I feel she’s often looking for that warm body to snuggle up with. It’s so cute, she’ll immerse herself in the sea of pillows on the couch if no one is available for a snuggle sesh. She’s getting good exposure to dogs, kids, adults, car-rides, walks in the woods, and occasionally a cat (whom she does get a bit too excited to see and chases). Faye-Faye is a lover with the cutest round puppy eyes!

Hi! My name is Millie and I am from Arkansas! I am 5-6 months old and 23 lbs. I have a heart on my head, pretty cute! I am a very sweet pup and I am good with other dogs (let's play!) and I am good with kids too :) From her foster: Millie is a bit shy at first, but once she feels safe her she blossoms into a silly puppy. She is doing well on house manners but is not a fan of the rain. She is adjusting well to leash walking too. She is very playful and would do well with another playful pup or regular visits to the dog park or doggy daycare. She is quiet in her crate at night. Millie is a very friendly young dog. She is very playful with dogs and loves attention from people. She would benefit from further training and would probably do well in dog sports.

Hi! My name is Tom and I am from Texas. From his foster: Tom is a super sweet and very loving puppy who gets along with everyone. He loves to play with his brother and then enjoys napping by our side (and occasionally on our laps). He is truly a bundle of joy. He is a vocal player and likes to growl and bark when playing. It's not anything bad, he just likes to “trash talk”. He *could* grow up to be a barker so shared walls could be a problem but it's way too soon to tell for sure. He doesn't bark randomly (or at noises) as much as he barks at his brother sometimes. Tom does like to steal his brother's food/treats so if you have another animal with resource guarding issues, you will need to separate and/or closely monitor them while Tom learns how to coexist with any resident dog. You'll need to continue work on potty training, shore up any fence lines, and puppy proof his area of the house. He can be a little timid when learning new things but once he feels comfortable (or motivated by food) he is a very quick learner. Tom really is super sweet and a wonderful pup with such a fun personality. I'm sure he will grow up to be an absolutely awesome dog, but he will likely need a lot of mental stimulation and physical activity. If you are open to it, once Tom finds his forever home, I think he would love getting together with his brother Jerry for play dates with each other. They really are the best of buds!

From her foster: Aether Mist is a sweet, happy and adorable puppy. She loves my dog and is always play-bowing around him. She's a cuddly pup and loves to be held and will sit on your lap where she will usually fall asleep. She is teething and chewing so is making good use of a couple teething toys from the rescue. She has learned to sit (not stay yet) and is treat motivated. She likes people and is very social. We are working on house training. She does very well using puppy pads which is good because I don't always get her outside in time. She's not sure about the leash--will walk a few feet and then pancake on the ground but will get up and try again. She does really well in her crate. I leave it open for her to go in and out and she will sit in there and play with toys. She will whine a very short time when I put her in at night or when I'm going out but then quiets down. She sleeps all night in her crate and waits quietly until you take her out in the morning and a couple nights has not had a potty accident. My cat is in hiding so I don't know how she is around cats and she rarely barks. She is tiny so would probably do better with kids older than a toddler.
