Jinx is a 9 year old border collie looking for a home where he can stay busy and challanged. He is smart, intense and has a high drive He needs a home with experience and interest in training. He is a very sweet boy who loves to snuggle as much as play! He is very loyal and wants to please his people. He is housebroken and crate trained. This boy loves to play fetch and can spend hours pushing balls around the yard! Jinx has lived with many dogs and has done well with most, but can be selective. He may do best as an only dog. He is not good with cats. Jinx is neutered, vaccinated, heart worm negative, and microchipped. Jinx is not an easy dog, but he will be an amazing friend to the right family! Hello, I’m Star! I’m a gentle, calm and more reserved puppy who likes to take my time and get to know someone before I decide if we’re friends (but secret is out, I love everyone I meet!). Once I know we’re friends, I have a tail that’s a propeller when I see you! I get so excited! I love other dogs, kids and all people I have met so far. I like to play with my stuffed animal toys, my rope toys & my tennis ball. I love my doggy bed too! I sleep & also hang out in an exercise pen whenever my foster family isn’t home to supervise us in the house. I’m playful, fun, loving & can even be adventurous if I have another dog showing me around (but that’s not required). I’m easy, gentle, calm and quiet. Star is estimated to be 10 weeks old and 9 lbs. Since we don’t know the dog’s actual genetics, this is just a guess on breed and size when grown. All dogs have had a vet examination, are up to date on all vaccinations, have been given dewormer and heartworm prevention. Dogs over 7 months have been heartworm tested. Hi there, I’m Spirit! I’m the only boy of the group! I’m super playful and enjoy wrestling with my sisters and the resident dog. I love the teenagers and the adults in the home. I haven’t met any cats or little kids yet, but I’m sure they would be fun too - I love attention & I'm very friendly! I’d really love to go on some adventures & I’m pretty sure with a warm jacket I’d love this snow you all are talking about. I mean, I love playing in my water dish already, so that’s a good start, right? I can’t wait for summer too, let’s play outside! No one came for her so she is now looking for a home who will love her, train her, and put that smartypants border collie brain to work. Ballet is smart as a whip and learns so fast. She absolutely thrives on being given something to do to. Puzzle toys, flirt pole, training—yes please! Ballet is typical puppy so housetraining is a work in progress but she keeps her crate clean for the workday and overnight. She is fantastic with other dogs but will herd them playfully which doesn’t always go over well with some dogs especially the little ones. She has not been around cats but would need a proper introduction to them and reminders that they aren’t for play. Ballet is of the mindset that everything is for play! Due to her breed she would be best with older kids or a herding breed experienced home who understands the tendencies to heel nip and chase kiddos to tell them where to go. Welcome Bear to CCPAL foster program. Bear is a young male that is 5 months old. He is 50% Border Collie and the other is Terrier. These puppies all love the water and would love a home that allows them to play in the water. He is the biggest of the 3 boys and a stronger personality. He is the most dominant of the 3 boys. He is outgoing and social and is slightly less attentive than his two brothers. He should be 50 pounds full grown. He currently is about 27 pounds. He lives with children and is around goats in his farm house foster home. He has long beautiful and shinny fur. He is knows sit and can walk on a leash. He is good in a car and friendly with his litter mates. He hasn’t been around any other dogs but his litter mates. They are all boys. He has the striking looks of a Border Collie. We would love someone that knows and loves the breed to apply for Bear or any in this litter. We think Bear has less of the Border Collie personality and more of the dad’s personality who was a Terrier. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 200 and transport is 600. He is healthy, vaccinated, neutered and ready for his forever home. He can be in a home with children. We like them to be 8 or older.
