Story
***Kodak is one of our 12 Dogs of Christmas, so his adoption fee is fully sponsored until 12/31/24!Meet Kodak! Happy holidays from the most charming boy around! Kodak is a seven-year-old, 46.9-pound Border Collie mix. This boy is a lover of all toys, fetch, and giving hugs to everyone he meets. Kodak`s previous owner stated that he`s friendly with people of all ages, and the only person he`s ever disliked is the UPS man. We get it, Kodak. Kodak is a loving and affectionate boy who would love a medium-energy household. He lived primarily outdoors in his previous home but could transition to living indoors, too. We`re sure he would be ecstatic to be welcomed up on the couch. Kodak will require a meet and greet with any current dogs you have in your home.Kodak is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. You can visit him at the shelter Tuesdays through Sundays from 8:30 to 5:00 PM!

Let Love Live believes in an easy, simple and low barrier adoption process. Gone are the days of home visits and reference checks. The questions we ask on our application are to help make sure we get the right pet into your home, not to exclude adopters. Let Love Live rescues animals in Texas and many southern states. We have two locations, our shelter and sanctuary in rural Northeast Texas and our Minnesota foster-based program. If you are interested in meeting a pet, please fill out an adoption application. Once an application is submitted you will be assigned an adoption coordinator and at that time all questions will be answered during the approval process. Story
This little beauty is Bristol. AKA Luca, Luca B or Lukey. To our best knowledge, she was born in January 2020 in Cleveland, Texas. Like many dogs that end up in rescue, she was part of a litter of puppies that were simply unwanted. She spent the first year of her life living in an outdoor pen unaltered with two of her brothers. Luca came to Minnesota almost three years ago and she's lived here knowing nothing but love and kindness. She has always been a very fun and happy girl and she loves being the boss of her current furry brothers. She also loves her human sister immensely. She doesn't mind the cat but she does bark at him when he walks by her kennel at night. Unfortunately, the house that she lives in is very busy and there is a lot of increased activity as her human sister gets older. Luca has shown that she does not handle the commotion or change very gracefully. We have been working with her for a while however she is a herding breed dog and takes her excitement out in the form of nipping much like you would see in a cattle dog on a farm. Her family has sadly decided it would be best for her if she could live out her days on a farm or with an active human or couple of humans. Luca is kennel trained, potty trained, walks great on a leash, loves going camping and loves to cuddle and give kisses. Just don't squeeze her too tight because she doesn't like it. We know the perfect family is out there for her and until we find it, she's safe with her current family. We truly want the best for her! Bristol's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers her spay, vaccinations, microchip and any additional medical care she may have needed while in the rescue's care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website http://www.northernlakesrescue.org

Story
Jensen is a sweet and eager-to-please dog who is quickly becoming a part of the family. He's a fast learner, already mastering basic commands and potty training thanks to some helpful training videos! He loves playtime with his new buddy the resident dog, especially wrestling and tug-of-war. Jensen has overcome his initial fear of cars and walks well on a leash, even on busy streets. He's not easily scared and enjoys exploring the outdoors (though keep an eye out for those tempting puddles!). He sleeps soundly through the night, doesn't mind his crate, and is content with a chew toy when left for short periods. Ideal home: Jensen would thrive in an active home with a family who loves playtime and cuddles. He'd do well with another playful dog like Reggie, but can also be happy on his own. Our best guess is that Jensen is a Heeler & terrier mix. Jensen's adoption fee is $425 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations appropriate at the time of adoption, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue's care. We are a foster based rescue, we do not house dogs at a facility. Age and breed are NLR's best guess as we often don't know who or what mom and dad are. Meet Wrangler, the ultimate couch potato! This laid-back pup loves to lounge on the couch with his favorite bone or toy. Currently on a diet to shed a few pounds, he thrives in a calm environment and prefers the company of relaxed dogs. Wrangler is also cat selective; while he might give chase, it's all in good fun and more about playful annoyance than anything serious. If you're searching for a chill companion who enjoys cozy moments, Wrangler is the perfect fit for you! Wrangler's adoption fee is $400 plus MN tax which covers his neuter, vaccinations appropriate at the time of adoption, microchip and any additional medical care he may have needed while in the rescue's care.
