She is lovely. So smart and trainable. I would love to find her a family that will give her agility or some kind of work training. I am not giving her what she needs. She loves her walks and is good on a leash. She does get excited for other humans and dogs.

Story
Sadie is about 10 months old and some friends of ours used to have her. She is a purebred Border Collie. She used to be very fearful of people, and the husband could never really form a bond with her, so they returned her to the breeder, although she almost immediately formed a bond with both of us. My husband felt very sad that she was returned to the breeder, so he brought her home one day. We have a summer cottage and learned that we cannot have a third dog (we currently have two). They all get along well, and also with our two cats. However, we have no place for her to run nor do we have a fenced-in yard, which she would benefit greatly from. She has been a bit stubborn about potty training, so we sometimes still have accidents in the house. Part of it may be our fault. Sadie is beautiful and very sweet and has overcome her shyness. We just want to find an appropriate home for her where she can run and get more exercise.

Leyland Leyland is a Male Border Collie mix DOB: June 6th, 2024 Adoption fee: $200.00 I am not as confident as my brother, but I still love attention. I am not quite as busy as Gibby, but I still have great puppy energy. I am playful, curious, and smart. My brother and I have similar colors, but we do have different coat styles and facial features. I should do well with another dog in the home. I should adjust to a dog friendly cat. I would do my best with a physically fenced yard. I am not fit for apartment life. Children should be at least 8 years or older in my new home. Herding breeds herd which include people or children and can be too much for the typical family who does not have breed experience. I am a very nice puppy, and I will make a great companion for the right person, couple, or family. Story
Origami is a special dog. He is a mixed breed dog (border collie & treeing walker coonhound) He will cling to you and not want to leave your side! Always wanting to be apart of everything. He has some separation anxiety so that is good to keep in mind. He is crate trained and potty trained. Origami is approximately 4-5 years old. He has been good with other dogs and our current two cats. He will slightly chase cats but he does not bite or exhibit aggression towards them. When meeting cats for the first time he will definitely be a little obsessive over them. Origami should have an active home with many walks and interactions with other dogs. But he is also good to just lay around with. He can become a little possessive over toys, bones and food, also important to keep in mind. He will be surrendered to the humane society if not adopted by 12/30/2024
