Story
Gizmo is an extremely loving and friendly border collie with high energy and intelligence. He was raised on acreage and loves chasing/barking at birds/squirrels. Since living in urban setting for past few years he now enjoys running at parks and will pull you on your bike to and from the park, seriously fun! He enjoys going to Partridge Creek and the dog park. He loves attention and giving attention. He is the best cuddler! He enjoys car rides with the window down, chew toys and treats. He is very loyal and the first one to the notify you of any visitors! Known commands: Sit. Leave It. Off. Shake. Stay. Laydown (though it can take some coaxing). He has had a loving home but we now have a 22 month old and now twins and he deserves more than we can give at this time. We are looking for a home with someone who loves him as much as we do, and most importantly can support his high exercise demands! He will come with bed, toys, food/water bowls, collar/leashes, invisible fence.

Story
I got Lando through a pet store. I’m going to speculate that he’s a puppy mill product. Lando is just under 2 years old. He’s an absolute love bug once you get to know him. He loves to play and cuddle. Unfortunately, he was not very well socialized with humans and I didn’t realize how uncomfortable he was around them until he became quite reactive around people. We live in an apartment complex, and maneuvering Lando away from people has become quite difficult. I had hoped that my financial circumstances would change and that I would be able to afford the training that he needs, however that doesn’t appear to be likely in the near future. I don’t have the time or the resources to give him what he needs. Lando needs someone who has experience with reactive dogs. He is more prone to be alright around humans if there are other dogs present and very near by. He may do better in a household with another dog. He has been going to daycare since he was a puppy. Good with dogs.

She has been looking for love in all the wrong places. Somebody dropped her off at a house and the homeowner said if we would not take her, he would just take and dump her off at someone else's place. This is way too good a dog for that nonsense! Selena is such a perfect little lady. She is very sweet and loving. She adores running and playing but she is all for the attention from her human friends. She gets along well with other dogs and loves kids. She would make a wonderful addition to anyone's family. Selena has been fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. This girl is currently in TN but the transport to your area is included in your fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

Lois is so pretty with the most adorable wispy soft coat! She is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 51 pounds. Meet Lois, a sweet girl with a happy personality and an adorable smile! She is very fond of giving kisses and leaning into you when she feels comfortable. She is all wiggles and just loves toys, she has a soft mouth release with them too. Although Lois can be a bit hand shy and scared of loud noises and fast movements, with the right person or family, she will flourish into a confident dog. She is looking for an active home where any children are at least 8 years old, that can provide her with lots of love, attention, and basic training. Lois can’t wait to have a forever family to love. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Lois would love to meet them. She has a soft, loose approach with other dogs with an “all in” play style. Meet Winston - an incredibly attentive and loveable young pup with a low-key demeanor, who is always eager to please and make you happy! If you're looking for a furry friend with great manners who is both easygoing and outgoing, Winston is the perfect companion for you. One of Winston's most adorable traits is his love of belly rubs and his gentle, attentive nature, he'll always be by your side, eager to shower you with affection. She especially loves his treats!  She would love to go to reward based training classes so she can spend time with her new family while working on puppy biting, house training, crate training, playing, and how to be the best puppy she can! is expected to be a large dog, so please take that into consideration when adopting. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners.
