Story
NOTE: MAGGIE is located in Ypsilanti, Mi. Maggie is an AKC SMOOTH COAT (short hair) Border Collie. She is a sweetheart. She is cautious when meeting new people, but once she meets you a couple times she will come up to you to be petted. She has these what I call soulful eyes. She has some training, but I failed her on doing more. Maggie absolutely adores the water, going for walks and rides. She is good with children. She is NOT good around chickens. As for cats, she really hasn't had any interaction with one, but I said no to be on the safe side. Your yard should be fenced in for her safety. She LOVES to run with other dogs. I have retired and am planning to do a lot of traveling, which isn't fair to Maggie. She is not a big "kisser" but loves to snuggle and be petted. I will want to do a home visit to mainly meet family and your backyard. Maggie you sometimes called Maggie Rose and she also responds to mags. She also knows what I mean when I say be a good doggy. She knows when I say were you a bad doggy. She is an absolute sweetheart. I will miss her greatly but I want to do right by her. You should be willing to send me a picture once or twice a year give me an update on how she's doing.

Story
She is lovely. So smart and trainable. I would love to find her a family that will give her agility or some kind of work training. I am not giving her what she needs. She loves her walks and is good on a leash. She does get excited for other humans and dogs.

Story
Sadie is about 10 months old and some friends of ours used to have her. She is a purebred Border Collie. She used to be very fearful of people, and the husband could never really form a bond with her, so they returned her to the breeder, although she almost immediately formed a bond with both of us. My husband felt very sad that she was returned to the breeder, so he brought her home one day. We have a summer cottage and learned that we cannot have a third dog (we currently have two). They all get along well, and also with our two cats. However, we have no place for her to run nor do we have a fenced-in yard, which she would benefit greatly from. She has been a bit stubborn about potty training, so we sometimes still have accidents in the house. Part of it may be our fault. Sadie is beautiful and very sweet and has overcome her shyness. We just want to find an appropriate home for her where she can run and get more exercise.
