Lois is so pretty with the most adorable wispy soft coat! She is estimated to be about 2 years old and weighs 51 pounds. Meet Lois, a sweet girl with a happy personality and an adorable smile! She is very fond of giving kisses and leaning into you when she feels comfortable. She is all wiggles and just loves toys, she has a soft mouth release with them too. Although Lois can be a bit hand shy and scared of loud noises and fast movements, with the right person or family, she will flourish into a confident dog. She is looking for an active home where any children are at least 8 years old, that can provide her with lots of love, attention, and basic training. Lois can’t wait to have a forever family to love. If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Lois would love to meet them. She has a soft, loose approach with other dogs with an “all in” play style. If you are interested in Lois and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. Origami is a special dog. He will cling to you and not want to leave your side! Always wanting to be apart of everything. He has some separation anxiety so that’s good to keep in mind. He is crate trained & potty trained. Origami is approximately 4-5 years old. He has been good with other dogs & our current two cats. He will slightly chase cats but he does not bite or exhibit aggression towards them. When meeting cats for the first time he will definitely be a little obsessive over them. Origami needs a highly active home with many walks & interactions with other dogs. He can become a little possessive over toys, bones & food, also important to keep in mind.

Rocky is one cool little dude! He was found as a stray and it took a while for us to get him because he was not quite sure who he could trust after being left alone. A good Samaritan was able to gain his trust and bring him to us. He opened up pretty quickly to us and now enjoys his time at the shelter but is very ready for his own home. He is a small border collie/feist mix and is 4 years old. He is leash trained and loves to go on walks. He knows basic commands and sits perfectly without being told to. He would be a great dog for someone who is active. He is such a loving and happy little guy. You will not go wrong with Rocky.

A GENEROUS DONOR HAS COVERED THIS DOG'S VET COSTS, GIVING YOU A REDUCED ADOPTION FEE! How can you look Selena in those puppy eyes and not fall in love? She has been looking for love in all the wrong places. Somebody dropped her off at a house and the homeowner said if we would not take her, he would just take and dump her off at someone else's place. This is way too good a dog for that nonsense! Selena is such a perfect little lady. She is very sweet and loving. She adores running and playing but she is all for the attention from her human friends. She gets along well with other dogs and loves kids. She would make a wonderful addition to anyone's family. Selena has been fully vetted, spayed and microchipped. She is ready to go to her forever home. Won't you please click on the big black "Ask about ME" button and find out more about her? This girl is currently in TN but the transport to your area is included in your fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, the most animal-friendly transport on the road.

This pup is being fostered in Athens TN. Transport to the Great Lakes area and the North East available to your area and if you’re seeing this on adopt a pet the fees for transport are included in the adoption fee! We use Rescue Riders for all our pet transport needs because they are the best! Do you Love Lucy? We love Lucy! This sweet pup found herself on the urgent list at our local city shelter. We are dumbfounded that she was there at our local city shelter for so long and no one came to claim her and no one wanted to adopt her. She is quite an awesome dog! She is smart and loving. She likes to give hugs and kisses. She loves to play with other dogs she would do great in a home with another dog that also loves to play. An active home would be great for her as well. She will need to have physical and mental stimulation in order to love a happy balanced life. She walks ok on leash. Some pulling but not too bad just needs a little twerking on the leash manners. She knows sit and her recall is pretty good. She is crate trained and house trained. Would do best with older children due to her size she would probably knock toddlers down by mistake when playing or loving on them. Please Apply at petpath.org

Gizmo is an extremely loving and friendly border collie with high energy and intelligence. He was raised on acreage and loves chasing/barking at birds/squirrels. Since living in urban setting for past few years he now enjoys running at parks and will pull you on your bike to and from the park, seriously fun! He enjoys going to Partridge Creek and the dog park. He loves attention and giving attention. He is the best cuddler! He enjoys car rides with the window down, chew toys and treats. He is very loyal and the first one to the notify you of any visitors! Known commands: Sit. Leave It. Off. Shake. Stay. Laydown (though it can take some coaxing). He has had a loving home but we now have a 22 month old and now twins and he deserves more than we can give at this time. We are looking for a home with someone who loves him as much as we do, and most importantly can support his high exercise demands! He will come with bed, toys, food/water bowls, collar/leashes, invisible fence.
