Story
NOTE: MAGGIE is located in Ypsilanti, Mi. Maggie is an AKC SMOOTH COAT (short hair) Border Collie. She is a sweetheart. She is cautious when meeting new people, but once she meets you a couple times she will come up to you to be petted. She has these what I call soulful eyes. She has some training, but I failed her on doing more. Maggie absolutely adores the water, going for walks and rides. She is good with children. She is NOT good around chickens. As for cats, she really hasn't had any interaction with one, but I said no to be on the safe side. Your yard should be fenced in for her safety. She LOVES to run with other dogs. I have retired and am planning to do a lot of traveling, which isn't fair to Maggie. She is not a big "kisser" but loves to snuggle and be petted. I will want to do a home visit to mainly meet family and your backyard. Maggie you sometimes called Maggie Rose and she also responds to mags. She also knows what I mean when I say be a good doggy. She knows when I say were you a bad doggy. She is an absolute sweetheart. I will miss her greatly but I want to do right by her. You should be willing to send me a picture once or twice a year give me an update on how she's doing.

She is lovely. So smart and trainable. I would love to find her a family that will give her agility or some kind of work training. I am not giving her what she needs. She loves her walks and is good on a leash. She does get excited for other humans and dogs.

Story
Sadie is about 10 months old and some friends of ours used to have her. She is a purebred Border Collie. She used to be very fearful of people, and the husband could never really form a bond with her, so they returned her to the breeder, although she almost immediately formed a bond with both of us. My husband felt very sad that she was returned to the breeder, so he brought her home one day. We have a summer cottage and learned that we cannot have a third dog (we currently have two). They all get along well, and also with our two cats. However, we have no place for her to run nor do we have a fenced-in yard, which she would benefit greatly from. She has been a bit stubborn about potty training, so we sometimes still have accidents in the house. Part of it may be our fault. Sadie is beautiful and very sweet and has overcome her shyness. We just want to find an appropriate home for her where she can run and get more exercise.

Story
Meet Darcy and Molly: A Pair of Lifelong Friends in Need of a Loving Home Darcy, a stunning 10-year-old Great Pyrenees, and her sister Molly, a sweet Border Collie mix, have spent their entire lives together. Their world changed when their beloved owner had to enter a nursing home, leaving these two devoted companions in search of a new family. Our rescue specializes in helping terminally ill individuals find new homes for their pets, and we were honored to welcome both Darcy and Molly into our care. These two are inseparable, and we're committed to finding them a home where they can stay together, providing each other comfort and companionship through this transition. About Darcy: Darcy is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. Despite her size, she is incredibly friendly and approachable, making fast friends with everyone she meets—people of all ages, including children. Darcy is housebroken, well-mannered, and even behaved wonderfully during her veterinary visits. At her age, she knows what she likes and prefers the calm company of her sister Molly over the hustle and bustle of other dogs. About Molly: Molly may be smaller, but she looks up to Darcy for guidance and reassurance. The bond between these two is unbreakable, and Molly draws strength from Darcy’s calm demeanor. Together, they make the perfect pair, balancing each other out and providing mutual comfort. Molly's love language is licking, so you can expect to be licked on the arm, in the face, and wherever she can reach to show you how much she loves you! She makes friends fast. Although she is 10 years old, true to her border collie nature, she loves to play toys and run around the fenced yard. What They Need: We’re looking for a family that understands the special grooming needs of a Great Pyrenees and is committed to daily brushing to keep Darcy looking and feeling her best. Both girls enjoy daily walks and would thrive in a home that can offer them the love, attention, and care they deserve. They are small dog friendly, housebroken, and healthy. Health and Wellness: Darcy and Molly have received comprehensive senior wellness care, including bloodwork, vaccinations (rabies, distemper, lepto, bordetella, and flu), and both are spayed and microchipped. They are healthy, happy, and ready to bring joy to a new family. Both girls had a professional grooming session. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this incredible duo, please reach out to us. Darcy and Molly have so much love to give and are eager to start the next chapter of their lives together—with you.
