Briggs is a 4 year old neutered Boarder Collie weighs around 44 pounds.  Brigs owner died and he went through several homes before arriving at Home At Last Sanctuary.  Briggs is typical in characteristics and behavior with the breed.  Briggs would only be a match for older children that are familiar with living with dogs. Brigg's foster home reports he cannot live in another home with a dog OR children. If you have interest or question please complete the online application. I can be unpredictable so I am looking for a family with no kids 15 and under. Look deep into my different colored eyes - then get me a ball! I LOVE to play fetch! The second I see a ball or hear you say the word, I'm ready to play. I know how to fetch and I'll bring the ball right back to you and drop it at your feet. I also love water and getting sprayed with a hose! I've been lucky to join doggy social here at FOHA and I have enjoyed playing with other dogs. I love going for walks as I get to know the volunteers and they get to know me. As much as I like new dogs I am not comfortable around a lot of new people. So I would not do well in a dog park or doggie daycare. I'll go ahead and say it, I'm extremely smart. I'm looking for an active family that will put my intelligence to good use. I would love to have a huge fenced in backyard to chase my ball until my heart is content. Apartments and condos will not be a good fit for me.
