Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Story
Boh was a pandemic puppy, born in October 2020, that we bought that December from a private breeder in Pennsylvania. She is now almost 4 years old and medium build at about 51 pounds in size. Her full name is “Bohdana”, a Slavic name meaning “God given” because Boh came into our family at just the right time to help my teenage daughter through the pandemic loneliness. Boh is an “only-dog” in that we had no other dogs but her, and she was never really around other dogs. We had cats that Boh accepted and never had problems. Boh always thinks that visitors (kids and adults) are there to see her! So she is a bit spoiled and will jump to people just to say “hi” and be hugged and petted. She’s never had problems meeting new people, including kids. She loves to play fetch with people, especially new people! Because Boh grew up in a big house with a big fenced-in yard (but with no neighbors close by), she tends to be afraid of loud noises, like thunderstorms, fireworks, even the sound of vacuum cleaners. And she’s wary of new dogs, timid before moving on to something else that interests her. Generally, Boh has slowly accepted some of the neighborhood dogs when I control the meeting process. A change in our family status, a move to a townhouse and a job that has me traveling frequently means that Boh is now alone for longer periods of time, with no large backyard to run in. She’s more isolated than before and I can see her separation anxiety growing. I can’t give her the life that she deserves, so I’m hoping to find her a nice family who can play with her, give her a large space to run like she used to in my old house, and give her the attention she once had. My Profile Age: 4 years Weight: 51 pounds Good with kids: Yes Good with dogs: I'm OK with some dogs, but I'd like to be an only dog Good with cats: Yes Fenced yard: Preferred Suitable for townhouse and/or apartment: Only if you have a place nearby for me to run. House trained: Yes. Crate trained: Unknown but not necessary Barks when left alone: I’ll bark when you leave, but then I’ll settle down Chews inappropriate items: No Training: Boh is not formally trained but good on a leash and knows a couple commands such as "Sit", "Stay", "Come inside" Activity level: High Meet Me If you'd like to meet Boh or get more information about her, send an email to Andrew Hood, at aahood62@gmail.com

If you are interested in adopting this dog,  please fill out an Adoption Questionnaire at  https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/43315/genericYou can learn about the adoption process by visiting: http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/howtoadopt/.Dog's Name:   Claire  (CLA0224CHEFD)Estimated Breed:   Border Collie/Corgi/Boxer MIXApproximate Age:   2-3 yearsApproximate Weight:   35 lbs  Currently Living at:   FosterAdoption Fee:   $400DOG'S DESCRIPTION:   Claire is a lucky pup who landed in a wonderful foster home with another dog to play and romp with! She’s an active, energetic bundle of joy, full of personality and affection. Claire gets along great with the resident dog and would thrive in a home with another similarly active dog. She loves sniffing around and is very nose-driven, making her a great candidate for scent games. With her boundless energy, she would also excel at agility training.Claire already knows how to sit, especially when there’s a treat in sight! She’s also comfortable in her crate for a few hours. Her absolute favorite things (besides people) are stuffed animals, particularly the squeaky ones! She’ll even bring them to you to toss or try to tease the other dog, Toasty, with them. Claire can be a bit of a brat when it comes to stealing treats, so any existing dogs should be okay with her cheeky antics. She’s completely potty trained with the doggie door and has no accidents when the backyard is accessible. It took her a bit to understand the dog door, but now she can easily go in and out on her own, and even scratches to get back inside if the door is closed.Claire has the personality of a mix between a Corgi and a Boxer. She’s always batting at things with her paws and has a Corgi-like body and ears. As a result, she’ll need a family who’s ready to work with her on her playful, jumping, and batting tendencies (older children or those used to energetic play would be ideal). Claire also loves to climb up on chairs and crawl around on her foster mom like a little cat until she finds the perfect spot for cuddles. Once settled, she’s happiest when she’s getting all the love and attention.Claire is a sweet, affectionate, and lovable dog, just the right size with a great personality. If you’re looking for a playful, snuggly companion, Claire might be the perfect fit for your family! Apply today to bring her into your home. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. Brandon’s your guy! He is a little shy at first, but once he settles in his personality will start to shine. He is friendly and wants to please his people. He’s smart too and can learn quickly with some positive reinforcement. After a good case of the zoomies or active session with his toys, he’ll take a nap and just hang out with you in front of the TV. New places and sounds can still be a little scary, but after he experiences them a few times, they become old hat. On walks, he’s quite interested in squirrels and birds, so you should have a strong hold until you’re able to work with him to be more polite on a leash. Easy going and great with other dogs, Brandon's adaptable personality makes him a perfect fit for just about any loving home. Why adopt Brandon? Story
Update from her foster mom: She is a great pup & will make a loyal companion. She is my shadow in the house! She is very affectionate, curious, sweet & playful. LOVES playing with our other dogs.LOVES toys & chew bones. She is very food motivated & smart- & thus easy to train. Still working on house training (that is more our fault than hers) but getting better, comes when called, sits on command, knows “crate” (& is very good in her crate). Alrighty, who is ready for some adventure? This gorgeous girl for sure! Meet Summer! She is a young mixed breed, maybe 12 months, and currently about 25-30 lbs. She has gorgeous med. hair with brindle coloring, a nubby tail, and beautiful brown eyes! Her vet records say Australian Shepherd mix. She certainly has the body size, energy, and friendly disposition. She really warms up to all people and dogs nicely. She would love hikes, maybe agility, or maybe even herding classes? How ever you choose to engage with Summer, I’m sure she will excel, she is motivated to please you! We prefer to place her in a home with a securely enclosed back yard, no toddlers, or cats. (Herding children is not looked upon favorably. 😉) If you are interested in adopting Summer who is already microchipped, spayed, tested, crate-trained, and on preventions, just email me to request an adoption application at : marysmutts05@gmail.com.

Story
Are you in search of a one-of-a-kind serial kisser? Well, look no further, because I, Mandy, am the dog you've been waiting for! I come with a mix of awesomeness and a charming personality that's sure to steal your heart. I can be delightfully laid-back, enjoying those calm moments, or I can transform into a bouncing ball of joy when the mood strikes. Walks and jogs? Count me in, especially if you're by my side. But here's the thing-I love playing with other dogs so much that I often choose their company over toys. Let's talk sunbathing. If your couch has that perfect spot for catching rays, you can bet I'll be there, soaking it all in. I'm a big fan of lounging, whether it's under tables, during dinner time, while you're working at your desk, or even when you're cuddled up in bed. I'm all about being close to my people, and if you choose to adopt me, I'll be all about you! I'm a sociable girl, getting along well with other dogs and kids (especially with submissive/non-dominant dogs). My crate training and potty training with a doggy door are top-notch. I'm a pro at commands like going to my crate and sitting patiently. Now, about my diet-here's the deal: I have EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means my pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes I need to digest food properly. Thanks to some attentive rescuers and veterinary care, we've got it all figured out. I'll need a specific diet and a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement to keep me feeling great. Think of it as a special appetizer and entree at every meal. EPI won't slow me down, and I'm ready to trade serial kisses for a loving forever home day in and day out. So, how about it? Story
Mac is a sweet boy who knows what he wants! He does love to chase and play with animals smaller than him. Due to this we suggest that he does not go home to a family that has cats or things like chickens. Squirrels watch out! This little guy can move! Mac is a ham, you can't see it in his pictures but he LOVES attention :) He is good with other dogs and happy to be a friend or he could be an only dog and BASK in the undivided attention :) He is a lazy boy and does enjoy snoozing and spending time on the couch napping but at the same time can have his moments where he is ready to go. He is housebroken and does just fine in a crate! If he sounds like the boy for you then don't wait!
