Hi there! I'm Tippy, a puppy full of energy and curiosity. My days are filled with play and exploration. I love to learn new tricks; they say I'm pretty smart! I'm always up for a game of fetch or a friendly wrestle. I'm quite the social butterfly, making friends wherever I go. My sweet nature makes me a hit with everyone I meet. I've got a lot of love to give and I'm eager to share it with a forever family. Why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless tail wags! Some pets are in foster homes or may already have an appointment scheduled, so the appointment is important to make sure I will be available to meet you when you come. Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, but also makes transports to the Denver, CO, Des Moines, IA and St. Louis areas twice monthly. For potential adopters in those areas, we can do a virtual visit using FaceTime or another app. Just request an appointment using the same link, but note that you want the visit to be virtual. We will call you at the time of the visit once it is confirmed. For long distance transports to Colorado and Iowa, there is an additional $100 fee to cover the cost of the transport ($65) and a health certificate from a veterinarian ($35). For transports to St. Louis, the additional fee is $50 to help cover gas. Going that last mile home for our sweet pets! All of our pets are neutered or spayed, have vaccinations appropriate for their age, treated with flea/tick/heartworm prevention, dewormed and dogs are also microchipped. #adoptdontshop ##2364023##

Lilo Layla may be a complex name for a simply happy puppy but it helps describe who I am :) i AM a happy/hoppy puppy, my foster mom says i have very high energy- which interprets as..... I need kids and other dogs to wear me out :) See?? Not so hard to interpret!! I am also called: sweet, stubborn, and finally ALL PUPPY!!! That likely doesn't need an explanation :D We believe I am part Heeler and Border Collie. I have serious puppy teeth so older kids better for my puppy teeth :) I am afraid of Cats, even though I want to chase other small animals, I got RESPECT for the kitties! I am crate trained, learning to walk on a harness and leash. She goes from 0 to 100- ALL PUPPY!!! So there you have it! I am the total package! 1) PUPPY, 2) very CUTE, 3) SMART, 4) GOOD WITH EVERYONE (except squirrrels, lol) and AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!! Kosmo was a surrender and I am trying to find a proper home for her. She is 3 years old and loves cuddles and playing. She is Bark Buster trained, obedient and very smart with a desire to learn. She loves playing with other dogs - is not alpha - but energetic. She would rather go along than be left home alone. She is food motivated but will not eat food not offered to her. She has allergies to food coloring/flavoring on kibble but is fine with wet food and any kibble that uses natural flavors/colors. It is well managed with an allergy tab. She is a house dog that loves off leash running, fetching, squirrel chasing.
