    Kelly is a LOVE! She does well with male dogs only, adores people of all ages. We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. All CARE animals arrive in their forever homes current on all age appropriate vaccinations & preventatives, as well as microchipped & altered. Carman is a dainty border collie mix, approximately 8 years old, that loves to cuddle and be a couch potato with her family. She is an affectionate gal once she gets to know you. In her case, patience makes the heart grow fonder as she apparently has some emotional scarring from her younger years. She is timid when meeting new people and prefers women over men. Once she does bond to her family, she is also extremely protective in regards to other dogs. She needs to be the ONLY pet, no exceptions. For this reason, we highly recommend a fenced yard for exercise as a means of preventing dog to dog interactions that frequently happens on walks. Her adoption fee is $250 and she is fostered in Danville, IN. You may contact her foster Kathy at 317-902-1018 to meet this cutie.
