Story
Tilly is mesmerizing with her icy blue eyes. This beautiful girl is just 15 months old. She is very smart. She would be great learning one of the many dog sports. She consistantly "checks in" with her foster mom to see if anything is expected of her.  Tilly would thrive with an adopter who is "hands on". She is 1/3 border collie, but also has small amounts of siberian husky/saint bernard/boxer/labrador retriever per her DNA results. A quiet home without small children would be ideal for her. Tilly is dog selective and it is unknown how she is with cats. She is crate and potty trained. Tilly is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is only $300.00. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1880121##

Story
Meet Gidget, a 7-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Mix weighing 46 pounds. Timid at first, but quick to warm up, she transforms into a wiggly-tailed, affectionate companion. She loves being petted and thinks she's a lap dog, playfully booping your hand if you stop. Her foster mom describes her as special, emphasizing Gidget's impeccable behavior, loyalty, and adaptability to various activities. This sweetheart's foster mom is proud to say that Gidget is getting much braver.  She used to hide upstairs when the family cooked and ate because of the noise, and she’ll now lay peacefully on the couch, doesn’t beg for food, and just watches TV with the family. She really loves routines and learns them very quickly - she has also became more food motivated. Gidget is calm, cuddly, and will follow you around and lay at your feet. She has a very happy and wiggly bottom, does a happy tap dance when given attention, and just super-loves her humans. Although Gidget loves humans, she needs to be the only dog in the home. Gidget thrives outdoors and on walks, demonstrating impeccable leash manners and regularly checking in with her walker. She loves running outside and often gets the "zoomies." She also loves playing fetch. Despite lacking formal commands, Gidget is incredibly well-behaved, calm, and quiet, with no exhibited prey drive—even in the presence of pet rats. In search of a loving home with a fenced yard, Gidget is ready to blossom with the right person or family. Her foster mom thinks she'll be great with kids, but believes she'll be most comfortable in a quieter home with children over 10 years old. She is a unique and special dog, eagerly awaiting the chance to become a cherished member of a lucky household. Gidget's adoption and McLean County Registration fees have been sponsored by one of her admirers.   She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. To be considered for adoption, you must first submit the application found at: http://fs16.formsite.com/WishBoneCanineRescue/adoptionapplication/index.html For information about this dog's breed(s), visit: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/abc.htm Wish Bone Canine Rescue  1303 Morrissey Drive Bloomington, IL 61701 www.wishbonecaninerescue.org           Since its our desire that you have a pet you can enjoy a lifetime of love with you, we take special measures to ensure that the pet is the best match for you and your family.  We require that you complete our online www.wishbonecaninerescue.org (Please give us 24 hours to verify your information). CJ is hanging out in a foster home. Check out what they had to say about his first few days home: "We've really enjoyed fostering him so far. He's very calm and gentle. He loves to climb into a lap and snuggle up for pets until he falls asleep. He's so good with our son too. One of his cutest habits is finding any human in the house, getting as close as possible, then sitting down and waiting for pets. His speedy little tail wags will melt your heart. He's also managed to navigate our home surprisingly well and is steadily becoming more confident with stairs." Adult dogs a part of this adoption special have had their adoption fee reduced to $99.00. Adult cats that qualify for this special have been reduced to $25.00. Apply now! Hi, I'm Pepper and I've lived a rough life! I was dumped at 2 years old to a shelter and adopted out a few months later only to be dumped in the country again. I have some trust issues but give me a day and I will love you so much! I love all dogs and cats. But kids are my absolute favorite over the age of 6. I don't want my tail pulled! As you can see, I was over fed and need to lose a few lbs.! I'm not happy about it because I live to eat! When I first meet people, I'm snarky and not happy about it because I have enough friends as it is, but mom says I have to so again give me a few minutes and I will love you! My absolute favorite thing in the world is car rides! I could do them all day long so if you know a trucker looking for a friend, I'd be happy to be copilot (just no gas station snacks allowed mom says)! Or if you have a kid, I also like to spend my day with them!
