Story
Hi my name is Biscuit (my foster family calls me Luna) and I am a super sweet, loving, and playful puppy who loves to give LOTS of kisses! I was born at the end of March and currently weigh about 15lbs. I enjoy running around, playing with the resident dogs, as well as playing with toys and puzzles (especially with treats). My foster family says I am so smart and goofy! They were so impressed when they found out I already knew how to “sit” when they first met me! I am working on potty training, but my foster parents say I’m doing great so far! I have been sleeping well at night in my cozy crate and enjoy taking naps during the day in my playpen. I’m still a puppy so have lots of energy and would love to be able to have a space to run around and play. I am looking for a sweet forever family that will give me lots of love and attention. I don’t like to be alone for too long since I’m still a young puppy and prefer to find a family that can dedicate time to be with me. I’m still getting used to being around cats and haven’t realized they don’t want to play like puppies do, so it may be best to be in a home without them unless there is enough space for me to acclimate. I can’t wait to find my forever home and am so excited to meet you! If you are interested in adopting/meeting , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application  . Story
We need to place Ryder in a loving foster or adoption home ASAP. His story is a sad one, he was adopted but sadly, it's a very busy environment, and the family found that they did not have much time to spend with Ryder. He needs someone to be at home because he does not do well in a crate for more that 2 hours. They have returned him to us so we can find him a family who will have more time for this absolutely sweet, adorable and loving young boy with plenty of love to give! Ryder has been used to being in a home with a family, but we have no choice to put him in boarding until we can find a home. It's depressing for dogs to go through so many changes and unsettlement. Can you please open up your home and hearts to this sweet boy? We're all in love with him! Sadly, we're also all at full capacity. FOSTERS needed at the very least. He is a really great boy! Ryder is a sweet male Border Collie-a little over 1 year old. He's very lovable, smart and playful. He is a puppy and needs a family, fenced backyard to run and play, people to cuddle. Ryder is a very sweet happy boy. Will go potty when taken outside -- no accidents in house. GREAT with kids (need to be over 10 years old), dogs, everyone! He does not do well in a crate for more than two hours, so needs someone to be home for most of the time. Some important points: •    Sweet, loving, playful border collie•    Loves kids, people and other dogs - ideal home with children over 10 years old•    Needs someone home most of the time so he doesn’t need to be crated.•    Loves walks, playing, and exploring. Ideally an active family that loves to run, take hikes, etc•    He is a border collie  - they are working dogs with purpose•    Needs a fenced in yard•    Needs a thriving environment with interactivity•    Needs a family with the time and patience to devote to his continued training and need for love and attention•    Needs structure, stability, and to feel safe From Ryder: Hey there, I'm Ryder! Woof, do I have a tale to tell you. Life's been a bit of a rollercoaster for this pup, but I'm wagging my tail and keeping my hopes up for a happy ending. You see, I thought I'd found my forever home. I was so excited! New family, new adventures, new smells - it was everything a young border collie could dream of. But then... well, things didn't work out quite like I'd hoped. My family, they were nice folks, but they just didn't have the time I need. It broke my heart to see them go, but I understand. Sometimes love just isn't enough, you know? So here I am, back where I started, but I'm not giving up! I'm only a little over a year old, and I've got so much love to give. My heart is as big as my ears, and let me tell you, that's pretty big! I'm looking for a family who's got the time and energy to match mine. Someone who wants to play fetch until their arm gets tired (don't worry, I never get tired!), or go for long walks and explore the world together. Oh, and did I mention I'm a whiz at learning new tricks? Border collies aren't just good looks, you know - we're smart as a whip! I promise I'll make you proud with how quickly I pick things up. Plus, I'm already house-trained. No messes from this good boy! What I really need is a home with a nice fenced yard where I can run and play to my heart's content. And at the end of the day, nothing would make me happier than curling up next to you for some cuddles. I get along great with everyone - kids, other dogs, you name it. I've got enough love in my heart for the whole family! So what do you say? Will you be my new best friend? I promise to be the most loyal, loving, and fun companion you could ever ask for. All I need is a chance and a family to call my own. Let's make some memories together, shall we? I'll be waiting with my tail wagging and my heart full of hope! ##1886358##

Story
East TN. Out of state welcome. Transport may be available to your area in the Great Lakes or northeast regions. If you are seeing this on adopt a pet the great news is the transport fee is covered in the adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders for Meet Daphne. She and her sister were surrendered to rescue by their owners who said they were 4-5 months old. When we received them they were certainly not 4-5 months old they were only 4-5 weeks old!! We were not aware if this and would have sent them back to be with their momma, however when we saw their condition we decided they would be better off with us. They were loaded with fleas and their skin had open sores and rashes and raw spots and infection from scratching the fleas. They were finally healthy enough for their spay and are about eight weeks old now. They have had two rounds of puppy vaccines and spay and microchipped. They will need two more rounds of puppy shots and rabies when they are old enough. They are super sweet puppies and a little shy at first but they have pretty good confidence. We were told momma was a rat terrier type and they said daddy was a mixed breed medium sized dog. So we can o it guess they will turn out to be a small-medium size fully grown. We offered to have momma and daddy spayed and neutered and were told they have vouchers for them already. Apply at Path.org
