Debuting Today: Get your application in quickly for this amazing girl. Libby, Libster, Libby Lou Libby is the best girl. If she has a fault, it's she just loves to run and play ball, all day. Saved from being euthanized at a rural pound, for having demodectic mange, Libby is 100% healthy and seeking her Furever home. We have no idea what breed she is, other than striking.. Libby is about 2 yrs old 65lbs, spayed, chipped and all vaccines are current, she is housebroken. Libby would love to have a playmate, she is dog, cat and kid friendly. An active family to hike and walk would be a dream come true for her. She does require a secure fenced yard, as she is an explorer. Libby can clear a 4' fence and can climb a 6' chain link. She would make a wonderful agility dog, with time and training. If you're in the market for a loving, loyal and unique companion Libby is your girl. Story
Shadow is a very good boy. He was subdued when he first got here which is normal, but he has blossomed. The vet estimates his age between 4 and 5 and his breed to be a lab/heeler mix. Shadow gets along with my other dogs, and I have cats as well. He didn’t pay any attention to the cats at first but now that he’s settled in and feeling comfortable, he seems to be more interested in them. He gets very excited when we get up in the morning and has tried to mix it up with one of our cats that sleeps in our room at night. He chases the others when they run past like the rest of my dogs. I don’t know that he would hurt any of my cats but may want to consider a home without cats to be safe. He does let you know when he wants to go outside by making a cute whine/squeak sound and when he’s ready to come in by scratching on the door. We have had a couple of accidents but nothing major. He is loved here and will be missed when he finds his furever home. He’s going to make someone a wonderful addition to their family. Thank you. Story
**Meet Marvel**He’s a 1 year old, 35 pound Australian shepherd/Cattle dog mix.Marvel is a sweet, sensitive boy who’s had a tough transition. He lived with his first and only owner until she had to move in with her son, who wouldn’t allow Marvel to come along. Now, the rescue environment is a bit overwhelming for him. He’s a submissive and gentle soul who gets along well with other dogs, but he’s still nervous as he adjusts. Marvel would thrive in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and start to relax. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Marvel is ready to steal your heart!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.November 4, 2024, 11:33 am

☘️🤎 BELFAST 🤎☘️ Hey, I am Belfast, the Irish gentleman of goofiness! Top o’ the mornin’ to ya, lads and lasses! 🇮🇪 I’m Belfast, a 3.5-month-old Border Collie mix with a dazzling white-and-brown coat and the comedic timing of a stand-up pup. My foster mom says I’m pure gold, but apparently, there’s a strict “no permanent second dog” rule in this house. Soooo… I’m politely looking for my forever family before I unpack all my toys for good. ☘️ Belfast’s Lucky Charms (I’m like a cereal, but better): 🐾 Snuggle Pro: If being a professional lap warmer were a career, I’d already have tenure. Prepare for unsolicited cuddles 24/7. 🛋️💞 🐕 Dog-Friendly: I’m all about the playdates—just call me the “CEO of Zoomies, Inc.” I’ve got moves that’ll make your other dog jealous. 🐾🎾 👶 Kid-Approved: I’m sweet, gentle, and the perfect sidekick for tiny humans. Need someone to clean up crumbs under the table? I volunteer. 🍪 🚽 Potty Training in Progress: Listen, it’s hard being this cute and learning to pee outside, but I’m getting there! Foster Mom says I’m smarter than I look (and I look pretty smart). 🧠🐾 🎾 Playful Spirit: Toys, sticks, leaves, your socks—I’m not picky. Let’s romp in the yard or chase a ball like it owes me money. 🏃‍♂️✨ 🌳 Yard Preferred: A little green space where I can frolic, nap, and do my very best puppy parkour routine. Bonus points if you cheer me on! 🌿🏞️ 🎭 Why You’ll Love Me (Besides My Irish Wit): I’m equal parts goofy puppy and dapper gentleman. I’ll make you laugh when you need it, snuggle when you don’t realize you do, and remind you that life is better when you’ve got a puppy tail wagging in your home. 💚 Are You My Forever Family? If you’ve got space in your home (and on your couch), let’s make this official. I promise to bring joy, laughs, and plenty of puppy love straight to your door. 🐾 Apply to adopt me here or set up a meet-and-greet: 🔗 https://www.straypawsrescue.com/information/96466003 🎉 Future family, I can’t wait to charm my way into your hearts (and maybe your bed). Let’s do this! 🍀🐾
