This girl was found wondering around a business and was brought to us. She is friendly, happy but will be a good size dog when grown. She has not been in a house (that we know of), nor has been on a leash. She does okay in a crate and has no issues with other dogs. She is just a sweet girl who is now ready for a forever home. She is in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Remmy – The Splash King in Search of His People! Hi, world! I'm Remmy, short for Romulus... yeah, I know, it’s a mouthful! I ended up in the Bakersfield shelter where space was tight. The staff there loved me so much they kept moving me around to keep me safe. But time was running out. That’s when Angel Dog Alliance stepped in and gave me a second chance. Now? I’m officially accepting applications for my forever family! I’m a 1-year-old Border Collie/Shepherd mix, about 60 lbs of pure joy, and I’m neutered, vaccinated, and ready to roll. I’ve got big puppy energy! I love to run, play, and splash like crazy in the kiddie pool (you’ve been warned). My favorite thing? Making a big entrance with a splash and hopping around with my toys. Zoomies are my love language. I’m super friendly with people and haven’t met a stranger I didn’t like. I’d be happiest in a home with another doggy friend to wrestle and play with. I know how to sit, I can shake paw, and I walk well on a leash, even though I zig-zag because everything is just so interesting. I’m great with kids, especially older ones who won’t mind my enthusiasm. I might knock over tiny toddlers during a zoomie, so I’d do best with kids 5 and up. Cats? I haven’t met any yet, so that’s still a mystery. If you’re looking for a sweet, silly, loving adventure buddy who’s down to cuddle after playtime, I’m your guy. Let’s make a splash together. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Capitan is the sweetest little boy.  Well not super little, he is probably around 25-30 pounds now and will most likely get a little bigger.  We are unsure of his breed, he looks like he has border collie in him but probably also some terrier, maybe lab, his coloring suggests dalmatian.  He is amazing with other dogs and kids, loves to snuggle.  We are not sure how he would be with cats in his home but at our events he doesn't even seem to notice them so he probably won't care.  He is working on potty training but is crate trained and does pretty well on a leash.  He loves the water and mud so heads up.  One thing you need to know...he is deaf, and mostly blind, he lost one eye (congenital issue and it was removed), the other eye is not great either.  We think he can see shadows because he navigates his surroundings just fine, even when he is in a new place.  He would benefit from someone who has experience with a deaf and blind dog as training is difficult since he can't hear.  But he is so easy going he would be fine as long as his people do their research and learn with him.  Otherwise he is healthy, he is fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Neely is on a furlough this week: "She’s super playful and super curious about everything. Potty training is going well if we take her out enough but if we have pee pads around she’ll use them, she didn’t like the windy night we had the other day, it scared her and she didn’t want to go outside so pee pads for the win. She learned how to sit! Although still working on it hahaha. And she’s doing much much better on leash She has been around my niece (5yo) and nephew (6months) and did so well, not even nibbling that much just many licks! You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Noah is a silly, snuggly 5-month-old Border Collie/Lab mix, who gets along great with other dogs. He is potty-trained and crate-trained, sleeping all night in his kennel. He loves to zoom around, enjoy a yummy bone or licky mat, then plop down to take a nice nap. He’s finding his voice and will let you know he’s excited for mealtime. He is an absolute pro in the car, mostly laying down for the ride, but pops up when he’s curious about what’s outside the car. He can “sit”, takes treats “slow”, and is on his way to understanding “kennel”. Noah is the sweetest boy, but he’s still looking for his forever family to give him all the love, patience, and playfulness he deserves. Blue is an attractive, male, 28 pound Blue Heeler who is about 3-4 years old. People he meets on his neighborhood walks frequently comment on what a beautiful dog he is. Blue loves to go to the dog park where he runs playfully with all the other dogs. He is friendly and interactive. When he meets other dogs while he is on a leash, he is more apt to be reactive. Blue is a sweet pooch who will bond strongly with his family. When he first meets people he is cautious and worried that their outreached hands mean they will hit him, not pet him. He would live best with a person or family with a fenced in yard and without small children and cats. Is Blue housebroken? Well, sort of. He can sleep through the night with no problem at all. During the day he has to pee shortly after drinking water. He is on a water/pee schedule to manage this. He eats a prescription dog food that keeps his chronic GI condition in check. Blue is a smart dog who would benefit from formal dog training sessions with his new owner. This would encourage the bonding process between them and help him learn the behaviors that are expected of him.
