This cutie is Lola. She is currently 13 pounds, 12 weeks old, and we think they may be a Border Collie mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. She loves to play with her sibling and take lots of naps. Eat, sleep, play, repeat- such is puppy life! Lola is still young so they will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. The adoption fee is $1,000.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. I've had Maxie for 7-8 years. A coworker needed to rehome her, so I took her with no hesitation. She is such a sweet girl with a silly smile. Great with people and other animals. Maxie needs a home with a yard and a family that can give her the attention she needs. She can be a little nervous at first, so she prefers a more mellow atmosphere. I moved to Idaho almost 2 years ago and up until now I have been able to meet her needs. We went from a house to an apartment where she just doesn't have the space she needs. I work 2 jobs, one full time and one part time which means I'm gone way more that I'd like to be, Maxie is not a fan of this. She loves attention and love and being with you. She barks when left alone too much and it is causing some issues at the apartment. I would love nothing more than to keep her but at this point I can't. I don't want any money, just hoping to find a wonderful home and family for her. We are in Post Falls, ID.
