Story
Leo is an silly playful male Border Collie mix that was born in April 2017. He loves to run, go on car rides and cuddle. He enjoys being with people and is a good fit for older children. Leo is already housebroken and would enjoy having a fenced in backyard. A privacy fence would be best. Leo prefers the company of big dogs over little ones. If you own another dog, we can do a meet and greet to see if they are compatible. Kitties, unfortunately, are not a good fit. Due to a genetic skin disorder, Leo must take medication every other day. For a wonderful dog like Leo, it is a small price to pay. Leo is anxious to have a family of his own. Will that be you?To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.

Story
Hello, me and my girlfriend found this pet from the street next to our apartment. The tenant left the puppy in the apartment when they moved. My stepdad is the apartment maintenance man. So we took her in and she was a few months old by then. We started having issues paying rent so we have to surrender her. We want her to be rehomed into a new home that can provide her with the shots, training, nurturing and safety of a person living in there home. We are unaware of her birthday and so we believe her to be 5-9 months old. In honesty, she is very playful, aloof but just cause she’s so young, she has learned to use a potty pad but must be reinforced so capable of learning, ENERGETIC, it’s great honestly. With her being young, she can be trained, but needs her requirements met. Thank you.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If you are interested in any of the FFOSK9 pups,  the first step is to fill out an application at  http://www.ffosk9resq.org/info/adoption .     Blaze is a sweet tiny little boy that weighed in at 6 pounds at approximately 9 weeks old. He is very sweet and wants to cuddle with his people. He is the more laid back and quiet one of the litter but still very playful. We believe he is a border collie mixed but his mom is a small breed. We just don't know what breed. He could grow to be as big as 35 pounds.   Adoption fee is $325 non-refundable,  and with all unaltered pups due to age restrictions, there will be a $75 reimbursement fee that will be sent to the vet of your choice once an appointment is made. There is a mandatory spay/neuter clause in the adoption agreement.   Blaze will be ready to go to his forever home Dec 18, 2024 after he has had his third round of DA2PPv vaccine.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.  We are a home based, not for profit organization in Northeast Alabama that helps place forgotten and unwanted pets in forever homes.  We are an all volunteer, 501(c)3  organization.  We rescue pets from high kill shelters, prior to being euthanized, as well as strays and unwanted pets.
