Story
Bullet is an 8 year old mix. He has lots of energy and loves to be with his person. He is an extremely loyal dog who loves to be outdoors or just by his owner. Bullet loves to chase sticks, go to the beach. Walk/explore trails, and take car rides. He is good with other dogs and ok with cats he just acts like they don’t exist. He’s has never bitten anyone, but he is extremely uncomfortable around our almost 2 year old and it’s not fair to seclude him and he’s just very nervous and anxious around her.

Story
We are looking for a special home for Shoe, my seven-month-old Border Collie, who is energetic, intelligent, and needs an owner with experience handling dogs with a neurotic temperament. Shoe is a loving and loyal companion, but he has a highly active mind and requires consistent training and structure to help manage his energy and emotions. He thrives in an environment where he can receive dedicated time, mental stimulation, and training to support his development. Shoe would do best with someone who understands the needs of a working breed and is patient, experienced, and committed to helping him reach his potential. His ideal home would be with someone who has the time and resources to work on his training regularly, helping him learn to relax and providing him with structured outlets for his energy. With the right guidance, Shoe will flourish and make an amazing companion.

Story
Finn is a fun boy with so much love to give and needs his perfect home to give it to. He is used to being around a lot of different sized dogs, he loves people, and can be cat tested upon request. He enjoys playing with his sister and anyone he is housed with. We were able to save him and his sister from being euthanized at Cordele Animal Services and we would love for him to find his forever family. He is still learning his manners so a home with older kids would be best so he doesn’t accidentally knock smaller children over; puppies have poor spatial awareness. He is already neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready to go. Finn can be cat tested upon request. Story
Denali was transferred in from an open admission facility at maximum capacity. He has beautiful coloring and really interesting eyes. The color and shape of them make it look as though he is looking at several things at once. Lol. Denali is a border collie mix but has the longer face, more like a rough collie than a border collie. He is good with other dogs and people. That goes to show you that you don`t always have to be the sharpest crayon in the box to bring color to someone`s life. Due to his apparently short attention span, Denali is going to need a very patient adopter! If you have a lot of time and patience, Denali will absolutely be worth it! Email reception@hsscg.org for an appointment or just come on in. We are open 11 to 4 Tuesday through Saturday. - Heartworm negative?

Story
Blaine is a gentle soul who is looking for a patient and understanding home. He can be quite shy at first, especially with new people, but once he gets to know you, he'll shower you with affection. Blaine absolutely adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident canine companion to help him come out of his shell. While Blaine is still learning to trust humans, he is incredibly sweet and cuddly once he warms up to you. He loves nothing more than snuggling up on the couch for pets and belly rubs. Blaine is crate trained and potty trained, making him a low-maintenance housemate. He is also a big fan of chew toys, which help keep him entertained and occupied. Blaine is easily startled and can be timid in new situations, so he would do best in a calm and quiet household. With time, patience, and lots of love, Blaine will blossom into a loyal and loving companion. Could you be the one to give Blaine the loving home he deserves?
