Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet Bada🩵 (It means sea in Korean) At the end of June 2022, Bada was admitted to the shelter with a fractured front leg. Bandaged in the hot weather, his wound attracted flies, and upon examination after rescue, his bones were misaligned, requiring a second surgery. Now, his bones have healed well, and he is happily running around without any issues. 😊 * Interaction with People : Bada is extremely fond of people. He's a sweetheart to humans, always greeting them with a big smile, which is so adorable. ❤ * Interaction with Dogs: He can be assertive towards dogs who play rough, so caution is needed. Tends to avoid encountering dogs with whom he had a clash at the Center. * Potty Training: He's been doing outdoor potty at the Center. * Hygiene: He's cooperative with ear cleaning and doesn't resist. However, he might whine when getting his nails trimmed as he's not used to it, so regular walks to grind his nails are necessary. * Walking: He follows people without pulling on the leash. Sometimes, he may resist going where he doesn't want to, but with leash training, he'll likely improve quickly. * Car Sickness: He's fine in the car and doesn't experience motion sickness at all! 💌Special Notes💌 * Separation anxiety and toilet training are still unknown as he's been living in a group at the center. * He rarely barks unnecessarily, but sometimes, he may bark alertly at external noises. He stops when called. * Bada enjoys being with people and receiving love while resting, so a place where he can receive undivided attention would be ideal. ☺️ He also enjoys his alone time when needed!

Story
Meet Rown🖤🤍 *Toward people: Loves people very very much! Although he experienced lots of accidents and has tragic memories about his past, he is a human-loving dog who shows lots and lots of love and affection! *Toward dogs: Is an energetic dog who loves playing with dog friends. Small dogs may be afraid of him sometimes due to his upbeat personality, but he can become a gentle dog by training him to control his excitement! *Separation anxiety: Unknown as he is staying at the center. *Potty training: Only outdoor potties at the center. *Hygiene: Has not experienced proper hygiene care yet as he is recovering/ getting treatments after his surgery, but he took hygiene-related care very well before surgery! ☺️ *Walking: Enjoys walking, but needs training as he may get hyper-excited. *Car-sickness: Rides cars very well without carsickness! 🖤Rescue Story🤍 Rown was rescued from the streets. He urgently needed surgery as he ate stones and screws. His legs were also injured probably due to the tough street environment, so he also had leg surgery and is currently recovering well. Rown is looking for a forever family that can give him lots of love and help make him healthy again! 🙏🏻 💌Special Notes💌 *Is undergoing rehabilitation after his ankle surgery, but has recovered a lot and walks well now! He may need to receive continuous rehabilitation therapy. Completed ankle fracture surgery

He may bark a little warily towards larger dogs. * Hygiene: He enjoys taking baths. * Walks: He enjoys going on walks and walks nicely on a leash. * Car sickness: He rides well in the car without showing signs of sickness!

Story
Please contact ADOPTION (adopt@doggieharmony.org) for more information about this pet. Patsy is on her second adoptive home. Though we all hoped differently, it’s more like a misfit sock than a cozy pair! She is looking for a new foster or adoptive home ASAP!   Patsy absolutely shines as an only pet in an adult home with a daily dose of exercise, which is what she had in her first adoptive home. Tragically her first mom sadly left this world way shut too soon, leaving Patsy alone in the home feeling confused and uncertain.   Patsy is 35 pounds of sassy sweet fun!  She gets along well with male dogs and can tolerate female dogs who accept her assertive nature.  But she really seems to thrive best as the only dog and ‘child’ in the home - she got used to being the center of some loving pet parent(s) world.    Right now, she may feel like a deer in headlights in a bustling house full of kids or furry pals. There have been some cheeky incidents, like a little nip at a neighbor kid on a bike and a some squabbles over toys and food with other her dog roommate.    We believe she’s a mix of border collie intelligence and Jack Russell bravado. These breeds require someone who is willing to keep up on her training and provide structure - she doesn't need to run the house.  She will actually be a happier dog if she knows her person is in charge.   What Patsy really dreams of is a home that mirrors her first happy digs! Think you could be the perfect match? Give us a shout! Age: 5 y/o Weight: 35 lbs Temperament: Gets along with male dogs and submissive females; does like to be boss :) Respectful, older kids. Training: Housetrained, crate-trained Vetting: Spay/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm neg Email for questions: jamie@doggieharmony.org To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. Please expect an adoption fee of $300; some of our urgent or long-term dogs have discounted fees.  November 6, 2024, 12:45 pm
