Story
A CUTE, SWEET YOUNG PUP: Approx. 7 - 8 months old / Approx. 24 lbs. & growing Hello – I’m Gemma!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control and I am so grateful they did.  The volunteers are having a great time with me, and I enjoyed being in the home I visited for a spend-the-night recently.  Now I’m in the prison/foster training program off-site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog already that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet!  Best no toddlers that I may bump over with my active play – and, of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a super friendly girl who is smart and fun with lots of playful energy.  Affectionate and loving, I really consider myself a lap dog.  I recently visited a home during the snow event and was very happy and a bit rambunctious until I got to check everything out and gave it the ‘sniff of approval’ – lol.  True to my border collie mix breed, I am quite smart and ready to learn! You’ll notice that I have a nub for a tail – perhaps it was docked, or I was born this way – I’m not sure.  But I am sure that I won’t be knocking things off the coffee table or any end tables due to a wagging tail – I think that’s a bonus for you! / My energy level is 6-8, so get ready to be active with your new best friend. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I look forward to learning lots of great commands with my trainer.  I know the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘down’, ‘drop it’, and ‘place’ commands so far as well as accepting friendly strangers without jumping and using proper door etiquette.  I can’t wait to learn lots more!  / I whine a bit in my crate, so it’s best that I don’t live in an apartment/condo-type living situation.  / I did well with my potty habits in the short break foster home, where they took me out about every 3 hours during the day.  I’ve had some accidents at the shelter so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.   • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to play and to be active with my people.  Toys are just the best, especially squeaky toys, and I look forward to great play sessions with my new family.  Whether going for walks, playing fetch, getting my coat brushed or settling in for some great cuddle time (all favorites of mine),  I’m sure to bring smiles to my family’s faces! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.  February 15, 2025, 9:20 am

She has never met a dog that she doesn&#39t like! Miss P is very food motivated and takes treats gently. She&#39s crate trained, house trained, and knows her basic commands. Miss P enjoys hunting for critters in the yard and chewing on her Nyla bones! Miss P would love a forever home with another dog and a fenced yard where she can spend time outside. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Story
Tucker is an adorable Border Collie/mix looking for his forever family! This loving boy has a beautiful black and white coat, and gorgeous brown eyes. Tucker is estimated to be around 1yr old, and weighs 40lbs. He is very intelligent, and loves to play frisbee, go for walks, or play in his fenced yard. Tucker is an active boy who would thrive with a family who is familiar with the needs of a herding breed dogs, and will provide him with the daily exercise and stimulation he requires. This sweet boy is dog friendly (his size or larger), and although he doesn&#39t currently live with kids, he would likely be kid friendly too (10yr+). Tucker is crate trained, potty trained, and knows multiple commands - sit, stay, down, crate, and come. Tucker&#39s ideal forever home would have a fenced yard, an active family, and owners who would enjoy teaching him new things - he would likely excel at agility or frisbee sports! He would be happy as the only dog in the house, or could live with other dogs. He is sweet, eager to please, and always happy! Tucker is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. If you&#39re interested in adopting this handsome boy, please email us at info@barkvilledogrescue.org or submit an application at https://www.barkvilledogrescue.org/applications.
