Story
Vaccinations & Date: see previous records Heartworm status: negative Heartworm & Flea prevention: yes Current Location, City, & State: plantation, fl Reason for intake: work schedule change/owners pack challenges Bite History: no Does the pet like dogs: yes Does the pet like cats: unknown Does the pet like small children: unknown House Trained: yes Crate Trained: yes Leash Trained: yes Describe the pets personally: Wyatt loves his people and loves playing frisbee even more. He knows sit, down, get down, shake (both), recall, go to bed. He's very gritty and would excel in a home that has lots of time to commit to play with enrichment activities. Wyatt has a high prey drive and, when given an opportunity, would likely chase small farm animals (chickens, ducks). When told "no" he redirects his attention back to you and away from the chickens/ducks. He has a solid off switch when provided appropriate play time where he likes to be close to his person, quietly resting or enjoying a chew toy. He loves all toys but frisbees are his favorite. Pets like’s & dislikes: Wyatt takes time to warm up to unknown persons, initially barking. He prefers to set the pace for introductions. He is a recovering car chaser (we suspect) and while walking on a leash is encouraged to "leave it" and is improving on not being aroused by the vehicle passing while on leash. A fenced in yard is recommended given his history and need for exercise. Any additional info you think should be shared: it is suspected that Wyatt was hit by a car when he was first brought into ewenity, which required months of daily bandage changes. His skin is completely healed with some scarring and a slight outturn to his left rear foot. He does not appear lame and enjoys playing.

Story
Snickers is a purebred almost 2 year old (Dec 2024) Miniature Australian Shepherd. Beautiful coloring and a lovely soft coat. A little shy at first but gets more confident. Cautious with people but does prefer women to men, cats and other dogs. He can be protective of his home. An energetic, alpha/pack leader owner and breed experience is preferred as he can nip and be a biter. Training has improved this behavior tremendously. Australian Shepherds need a very dedicated owner as they get very attached and protective, also: 1. Owners must invest time in training. 2. Aussie's need to be mentally stimulated and kept occupied as they are very intelligent. 3. They need rigorous daily exercise such as hiking, running and games of fetch. If you can provide a home to Snickers with these criteria, please complete an adoption application. Thank you $400 adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, and all vaccinations and preventatives up to date. Adopters should have the following: Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with. Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours. ** All canine pets should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. ** PawLife Rescue Group reserves the right to approve or deny any application for any reason. Story
Please visit our website for more information on the foster/adoption process and to complete a foster/adoption application. https://www.pawliferescuegroup.org/adoption-resources Monica along with her brother Chandler and 2 other siblings Ross & Rachel were found by some tourists, abandoned in the Bahamas. They sought help at a local rescue on the islands. The rescue needed help taking any dogs or puppies as they are being forced to close. We were able to take 3. Ross is recovering from an injury of unknown origin and Rachel found a home. They were flown to us via Miami on July 31st, the last day young puppies were allowed to be flown in as the regulations changed Aug 1st to no puppies under 6 months of age. The cutest puppy with the most adorable ears!! Monica is a playful girl, a little on the shy side who warms up quickly. Monica is friendly with everyone and good with other dogs. Best guess at breed. Adopters should have the following: Single family home with fenced yard and preferably another pup to play and socialize with. Please, no long hours left alone and not crated for more than 4 hours.‍ ** All canine pets in home should be altered, current on all required vaccinations, including rabies and on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. ** PawLife Rescue Group reserves the right to approve or deny any application for any reason.
