Story
Amoria appeared one night while I thought, “this walk would be better with a dog” and there she was, flopping over onto her back and accompanying me home. I searched for her family, and soon became it, driving her from Texas to California for her new life. Since then, Amoria has enjoyed playing, walks, new adventures & friends. She is an energetic and loving dog. She is loyal, protective & playful. She loves coziness and cuddles. Unfortunately Amoria also deals with reactivity which means: leash reactivity and pulling on walks, severe excitement seeing other dogs when on leash, jumping on people, & under certain conditions nipping or biting to communicate. Amoria would benefit from an experienced dog handler who has time to give her proper training. She is very smart & picks up tricks and commands easily, including: sit, down, leave it, stay, up, off, find (objects like a phone/ her toy), roll over. Behavior management will support her safety & wellbeing to stay a happy pup!

Story
**COURTESY POST****THIS IS A COURTESY POST, THIS DOG IS NOT AT THE SHELTER. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, REACH OUT TO HUDSON hudsongarland1@gmail.com** Debo is a 1 year old, intact male border collie mix. He is very sweet with all people, but is high energy and requires more space than the owner can provide. Debo has never lived with kids, cats, or other dogs, so we are unsure how he would be with them. All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Jacob: a true San Francisco Dog Jacob is a true adventurer who loves long walks by the water in Chrissy Field and car rides with the windows down. He thrives on playtime at the dog park, making new friends and enjoying the thrill of chasing after toys. Treats, especially pig ears, are his ultimate reward after a day of exploring. When he's not busy having fun, you can find him lounging and napping in his favorite sunny spot. Don't mention baths, vacuums, or hairdryers-those are not his favorite things! He's been doing exceptionally well with big dogs, small dogs, puppies, packs of dogs, and humans. He's extremely affectionate and loves to lounge on the couch in the bed or on his bed, but he can turn it on whenever he needs to! Very gently with other dogs, humans, and kids! He's thriving in a foster in San Francisco and would do great in a forever home! Apply today!
