We rescued Rocco from the West Valley Animal Shelter. He was terrified at the shelter and would have been put down. He has made a lot of progress since we pulled him that we are looking for his perfect home now. Preferably a backyard and no children. He warms up quickly but needs to be with experienced people. Dahlia is perfect! She is so good with other dogs and humans. She has been waiting 2 years for a place to call home. She was originally rescued with her boyfriend and litter of pups. All have long been adopted while she has been waiting. Great in the car, nice on leash and not a barker. She only barks when she needs to go out to do her business. Would be fine as an only dog or part of a pack. She’s so stunning, people are drawn to her. She is new to our rescue and has been a bit confused and stressed out at mobile adoption events but after each event she gets more comfortable. It’s a big change for her and she’s handling it much better than we would.

Chino is a good dog for the right home, but he has two flaws: he doesn't care to share an environment with any other dogs, and he can escape from almost any confinement. Since we like Border Collies in general, and since he was "overdue" at his animal shelter one day when we were there picking up another dog, he was also chosen and saved. We quickly learned that the part of Chino that is not Border Collie is probably one of the tundra breeds like Malamute, because we had to fully enclose every inch of his kennel to keep him in. (This was after he escaped from four previous attempts to kennel him.) The good news is that after escaping he only wanted to stay by the side of his human friends here at the rescue, so he'll need a pretty much constant human companion. Chino is about 3 years old and weighs about 80 pounds.
