Taters owner was going to surrender him to the animal shelter so he is with us well we search for a forever home. Tater is a very sweet boy who gets along with other dogs, cats, and children. He is high energy and likes to play and go on walks and hikes, but can settle down for a snuggle. He is house broken and kennel trained. He has also learned sit, lay down, stay, and shake and picks up on commands quickly. He is neutered and up to date on all vaccines.

Misty was spotted in a large open field close to a freeway. She was seen hobbling. I attempted to go get her but the moment she spotted me, she ran with her back leg up. It almost seems impossible to catch her, so, we left food on that field every day for 3 weeks until we placed a trap. She was so emacited, so sad, so broken. She went into a foster home and that is where she flourished. She loves dogs, she is housetrained, she is learning commands quickly and she loves to cuddle. She turned out to be the perfect dog! She didn't need surgery for her leg, only steroid shots that will last a few weeks. She is ready to call a family hers.

Camy is a 3-4 year old Border Collie/Husky Mix. She came to us through a Good Samaritan who found her left in a dog park. We found several posts online showing she had been spotted several times across town for 3-4 weeks before finally being found in the dog park. Her previous owners never claimed her. We had no clue she was pregnant until her belly grew into a watermelon sized ball, seemingly overnight! She gave birth to 9 healthy puppies who have all been adopted by the most wonderful families. Camy is the sweetest, most lovable girl with very high energy. She does not like to be kenneled and only wants to go for walks or play. She needs a family with a very active lifestyle and/or another very active dog with similar energy type to ensure a happy forever after. She gets along with most dogs but can be picky about others. She would be best suited for older kids. A very secure yard/play area is a must because she is an escape artist and will take off if she feels like it. This behavior will, most likely, subside once she has a family that can satisfy her need for attention and exercise. All current AND previous pets (cats and dogs) MUST be up to date on vaccines and be spayed/neutered. Please check with your landlord, if you rent, for breed and weight restrictions before applying. While not old in years this boy is an old soul. Zander just goes along with whatever life throws his way. Hes pretty chill and unbothered with most things but playing ball will bring out his youthful side. He lives for anything ball related and hopes to find an equally ball loving family once he’s completed the 3 month long program. If you’ve got other dogs he’s good with them too and would be an easy fit for a home looking for a second mellower dog.Zander sadly sat unclaimed and unadopted at the shelter for almost 2 months. He wasn’t bothered by his predicament but maybe that’s because he didn’t understand dogs who linger with no opportunities to get out are euthanasia listed. That’s exactly what happened. Although he never did anything wrong Zander was going to lose his life for space. Thankfully one of our amazing foster families said yes to 4 of the euthanasia listed dogs and Zander got his lucky break. This sweet boy settled right in to foster care. He’s crate trained, affectionate and did we mention how much he loves playing ball? He’ll be in our Pawsitive Change program for the next three month honing his training skills and then hes ready to find a family looking for a mellower pup and promises he’ll be the good boy we all know and love.
