You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out !Chopper is a your typical collie mix who fancies himself needing a job.  He has typical BC behavior including the occasional nudge in attempt to herd you to where he wants you.  He is an adult who is at 50 lbs now and around 2 years old.  Chopper can be independent, but also enjoys the company of other dogs and would happily play and romp with them. We would love to find an adopter who likes to go on adventures, hike, swim, run.... anything that expends energy and keeps those senses activated.  Chopper would thrive in this environment.  He is a quiet fella, not demanding and does great in his crate. Learning and doing great with leash walking and overall would be a smarty pants companion and great snuggler. If you would like tomeet Chopper, please submit an application through our website. Interest Form: https://amazingstraysrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5860 His adoption fee is $450 and covers vaccinations, microchip and neuter.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 3:20 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out ! Meet Tuxie! She's a truly incredible dog. Before we dive into her best qualities, though, lets address what makes it difficult for her to find a long-term foster or adopter. Tuxie is a gal who needs a slow and polite introduction to pup pals. After that, she lets her silly friendly side shine. Also, she doesn't love that hard to interpret, sometimes chaotic energy that toddlers often bring and would be best suited with a family with older or no kids. Lastly, she has been diagnosed with EPI, but wait, don't go, before you decide you don't want a medical dog, listen up! EPI means her pancreas doesn't produce enough digestive enzymes, so she needs a little help with a powered supplement. Its actually very easy to give her and affordable to boot. 1.5 teaspoons are mixed in her food. This also means she can't have treats unless its within 20 mins of eating her meals. Ok, now into what makes her shine: She loves cuddles with her people She is such a polite walker on leash She is a great watch dog and doesn't bark unless she hears concerning sounds  She is equally content watching a movie with you on the couchey  as she is gearing up for a multi mile hike  She's very intelligent and picks up on new skills an commands quickly and easily  She will be the most loyal girl once she is given a chance to be your shadow  If you are interested, fill out an application today- CLICK HERE! Her adoption fee is $450 and  covers vaccinations, Rabies, spay/neuter, and microchip.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 3:20 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check Me out !Ollie is the papa of a litter we rescued out of the San Bernardino Animal Shelter.  The entire family was on the Red (euthanasia) list.  We were contacted to help and we swooped in to save the group.  Ollie is a sweet little guy who prefers the company of women over men.  This is pretty typical in a neglect or abuse case.  He is missing a rear foot/paw, but it does not slow him down.  He is a sweet natured loving guy who just wants to be your best friend.  He gets along with other dogs, walks well on a leash, rides like a champion in the front seat of a car and is just an overall good guy.   His adoption fee is $495 and covers vaccinations, microchip and neuter.   https://amazingstraysrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/form?formid=5860 If you are interested in meeting Ollie, please submit an application through our website at www.amazingstraysrescue.org.  His adoption fee covers vaccines, microchip, neuter and first dose of flea and tick prevention.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 7, 2024, 8:42 pm

Story
Tito is a Border Collie mix. He’s four years old and 50 pounds. He was a stray, rescued from the streets of TJ, and he was injured at the time of his rescue. He unfortunately had to have his leg amputated due to the severity of his injuries. Despite suffering so much, he is an easy going, loving and grateful dog. He loves humans and loves to be in the company of his humans. He’s obedient, loves car rides, and sleeps in his crate with the door open. He walks well on a leash and gets around despite having lost his leg. He likes most dogs but small dogs tend to annoy him, and he does best with female dogs. He doesn’t like to share his food unless he likes the other dog. He loves being petted. He would be a wonderful companion, and he deserves to find a loving family.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Foster of Forever home wanted!!!!  Meet Zuzu!!!!   Zuzu was adopted from us as a young puppy.  Sadly her family situation has changed and Zuzu is back with us looking for a new foster or forever family.  Zuzu is a two year old Border Collie mix (best guess).  She is smart, house trained, leash trained, crate trained, has basic skills and loves dogs, even went to doggie daycare in the past (plays a bit rough and tumble so smaller or sensitive dogs may not be a fan of that). Zuzu is protective of her people and home and thus would do best in a dog savvy ‘quieter” adult only home.  Zuzu is looking for a family who will give her structure, daily exercise, daytime adventures, night time cuddles and the confidence to know human strangers are not a concern.  If Zuzu sounds like the right dog for your family email dogs@labradorsandfriends.org or fill out our online application at www.labradorsandfriends.org  Zuzu is located in Southern California.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 6, 2024, 7:50 pm

Story
We rescued Zora from a kill shelter several months ago. She is a very sweet, affectionate, and energetic dog. She will require the opportunity to go on long walks and runs. She's very playful and a wonderful hugger (her fur is soooo soft). She's very young. She was very good at using puppy pads, but has recently become confused as we're trying to train the dogs (we have 7) to go outside. She is very much a pleaser and will (usually) go to her crate when she's told. She loves to play with other doggies, but gets very nippy sometimes and terrorizes our pit bull who doesn't realize she could easily end Zora (and instead jumps in mommy's lap). We'd rather she never find that out. With my husband leaving the home (we are separating), the "alpha" is gone and Zora is now trying to assert dominance. Thus it's best for the other dogs and our preschooler if she lives elsewhere. We will miss her, but she's just too much for one small person to handle along with 6 other doggies.
