Story
Sweet Bobo came to us from SF ACC where she was an owner surrender when her owner fell on hard times. Bobo had been with the same owner her entire life and was well-loved, making her transition into the sanctuary even tougher for her. Poor Bobo is confused and grieving losing her person. Despite it all, we see a very sweet and loving girl who loves to be groomed and loved on. Bobo is still acclimating to the changes in her life, so we are still getting to know her, but she reportedly gets along with dogs of all sizes and even puppies. We already are seeing more and more of her darling personality as she settles in. Bobo knew the love and companionship of humans her whole life and seeks her new forever home who can offer her the same!

Story
Zelda will be 5 in March and we adopted her as a rescue dog when she was a puppy. She has gone through training and is well behaved and affectionate. We have loved having Zelda as part of our family and are sad to have to rehome her. This is only due to moving into an apartment after we retired and the landlord wanting us to remove her. Zelda is a loving dog and enjoys walks and runs and dog parks. She is smart, energetic and is good with children.

Story
Howie is the sweetest dog and just wants to please you. I have some health issues and he is a very energetic dog (almost 2) who would be better with a very active owner. We also, unfortunately, have aging parents who require care and are afraid Howie, with all his enthusiasm, will knock them over. He is a super fast learner and is very easy to train. His recall is impressive and always amazes me. He really is a large love bug. We absolutely love him but feel we are failing him in his needs. He does always want to be by your side and will make it clear to you. I have had his DNA checked, and he is half Border Collie and a mix of every other herding dog. So an experienced owner would be best. Howie currently lives with another small dog and loves to play with him but has shown insecurity in meeting other dogs. We are in no rush to rehome Howie as we love him dearly, so please only apply if you are prepared to have a clingy, ride or die best friend.
