Story
We adopted Tobi almost a year ago from Animals Friends of the Valley where he was a stray. He was already fixed. He has had all his shots. He is house trained. He is very well trained and obeys commands well. He has had rattle snake training. He gets along great with other dogs and cats. He is very protective of small children. He is doing his job as a herder. Unfortunately we have special needs children in our extended family and he has nipped at them while herding them. He has never bit anyone that we know of but his protecting of the smallest children can be scary if the child isn’t used to this behavior. He is also a wanderer. We live on a property with no fence so he does leave if unattended.

Story
Oakley was adopted in Belton, Texas last September. He is a ball of energy and very playful with other dogs and people. He is VERY cuddly and sweet. Due to being a shelter dog he is a little skittish when first meeting other dogs but he currently lives with 3 other dogs so once he acclimates there is no issue

Story
Melina: Border collie mix weights 48 lbs.   Fully spayed/vaccinated Melina loves car rides and the outdoors!  Loves to catch a ball in mid-air! Long walks and going for hikes and hanging out with her people! She is highly energetic and would benefit from an outdoor environment and other stimulation but takes naps and sleeps all night.   She is protective and alert of her family!  Of her environment and her fur family.   She is loyal and loving And would make a great ranch/farm animal or a lap dog.    She is fully housebroken and enjoys eggs for breakfast. She can benefit from an experienced dog family that can train her with jumping and basic commands but she listens to sit/stay/wait/off. She is fully potty trained and house broken.  Still on her chewing stage but toys help. Raised with cats and another dog and loves on her fur family. Melina wants to please and be loved and is a cuddle bug and will jump on your laps given the chance. If you have a hole in your heart, then look no further.       ##2040990##

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We originally pulled Jojo in 9/2020! She has come a long way since then! She no longer has the major separation anxiety that she had before. She enjoys playing with other dogs, loves going for walks and is completely crate trained. Her perfect family will have other dogs for her to hang out with and some patience as she learns a new routine. She is one of the happiest dogs we've ever pulled. We love her and we think you will, too!  Jojo has had a rough life with humans that just keep letting her down. She didn't get the important socialization when she was a baby, instead she was left in the backyard.  Jojo is still in training and is working on being a calmer dog. She does amazingly well if she can be around her person, she gets anxious when she is alone. She suffers from separation anxiety and would do best in a home where adults are home. She loves having other dogs around and being with another dog helps calm her down. We think Jojo's perfect home will have a place for her to live with another dog and owners that are willing to work with her on her separation anxiety and help her to get comfortable  in her new home.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 24, 2024, 12:11 am
