Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereWhen Paxton found himself at the shelter, he was very shy and frightened at first. Since being in a foster home, Paxton has gotten to show more of his true personality. He is joyful, silly, and playful.  Paxton is the kind of dog that will benefit from lots of patience and the opportunity to meet people and other dogs at his own pace. A quiet, adult home with another mellow and confident dog would be ideal for him! He is housetrained, super smart, and loves playing ball. Paxton is estimated to be 7-9 months old and weighs just over 20 pounds.  Follow him in foster with @fosterpupsbayarea on Instagram, and click here to learn how to adopt and submit your adoption questionnaire.           View this post on Instagram                       A post shared by Adoptable Pups Bae Area (@fosterpupsbayarea)  March 19, 2026, 2:44 pm

Penny will grow into a bigger, active dog and will need plenty of daily exercise, mental stimulation, and continued guidance. Active people are encouraged to apply. If you’re ready for the time, energy, and joy that comes with raising a puppy, Penny might be your perfect match. Estimated adult weight is 40 pounds, no guarantee.

Story
With a gaze that melts hearts and a spirit that fills every room, Ursus is far more than just a handsome face. He possesses a genuine, expansive heart and a personality so vibrant it's impossible to ignore. Though he carries himself with a certain natural beauty, he also has a sensitive side; he tends to be a bit cautious and endearingly eccentric when navigating new environments. This "delightfully weird" phase is simply his way of processing the world before he feels comfortable enough to let his true colors shine.Once that initial shell thaws, you are rewarded with a companion who is remarkably quirky and unapologetically goofy. He is the kind of dog who turns every mundane moment into a playful memory. While Ursus prefers the company of adults over the high energy of young children, his social life truly flourishes when other canines are involved. He is a social butterfly in the dog park, always eager to make new four-legged friends and engage in a good romp. For a patient owner who appreciates a touch of character and a lot of soul, Ursus is the perfect match. Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 48.4 Age: 2yrs 3mths 0wks

Story
Draco is an energetic short-legged guy who weighs 36 lbs. At one year old, Draco is still a young guy who will benefit from steady, solid training and an active home. We're not sure of Draco's breed mix, but he definitely has some herding breeds in there, which means he will need a good amount of daily mental and physical stimulation. He would likely do best in a home that has herding breed experience or has done their research. Draco does well with other dogs, as long as they are ok with his rowdy play style!
