Story

Lucas is a four-year old border collie lab mix. He needs someone with time and patience. He belongs in a home where he can run freely. He is SUPER food motivated. He will wait for his food bowl and luckily not food aggressive. He loves to play tug a war and fetch. Does not like showers but will stay as you wash him. He is house trained. He sits by the door to let you know he needs to potty. Never destroyed things inside. Loves doing tricks like sit, shake, down, and says sup by nodding his head. Bilingual; Spanish and English. I am only his best friend. Lucas does not like anyone else. He tolerates my two cats but that took months. He will chase any other cat he sees. He doesn’t like other dogs. Told by vet he is fear aggressive and has separate anxiety. Lucas has bit everyone at home but never ripped skin. If company comes he will sit on his bed. If you call him he will turn away. He growls and shows teeth as a warning if pet by anyone but me he will bite.
