Meet Rown🖤 Rown was found on the street. He had swallowed stones and screws due to hunger, requiring emergency surgery. He also had an injury on his leg from his difficult life on the streets, but after surgery, he’s now in recovery. * With People: Loves people so much! Despite having a hard time in the past with accidents and struggles, he is endlessly affectionate and loves being around people. * With Dogs: Is full of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs. Is very playful and always approaches first to initiate play. * With Cats: Is curious and always watches them when they pass by. * Separation Anxiety: Currently resides with other dogs at the Center, so it’s hard to determine. Shows mild signs of separation anxiety when alone. * Potty Training: Is well-trained to go potty both indoors and outdoors. * Hygiene: Is still getting used to baths. Resists at first but cooperates well once he’s in the bath. Is also good with drying, brushing, and nail trimming. * Walks: Loves walks so much that he sometimes pulls on the leash when he gets excited. But it’s not severe and can be managed easily. * Car Sickness: Rides well without any signs of motion sickness. 💌Special Notes💌 * Has mastered several commands such as “sit” and “paw” about 80% of the time. * His right foreleg is chafed whenever he walks. A shoe is a must when he goes out for a walk. ❗Health Condition ❗ * Neutered. * Microchipped, and ankle surgery completed. * His right foreleg has been unfolded and stiffened after the ankle surgery. Has no issue in a daily life.

Drake is a charming 10 year old Border Collie and Shepherd Mix with a classic black and white coat. After losing his beloved owner, who bravely battled cancer, Drake is in search of a new family to love. This sweet and easygoing senior dog enjoys his daily walks and is great with children. His warm and friendly nature makes him a wonderful companion for a family ready to offer him comfort and care in his golden years. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Meet Doodle! Doodle is a 7-year-old mini-Australian shepherd. He is a super smart, funny and loving dog but he is not for the first-time dog owner. True to his breed, he has a very high herding instinct and is protective of his home. He is also very obedient, knows all his commands, is potty-trained, crate trained, and absolutely can't get enough attention from his person. He requires a lot of exercise (just a walk isn't enough), so he'll need an active owner who will run with him, hike with him, and take him on adventures. Doodle would do great in agility or herding activities. He can be reactive with larger dogs so we are looking for a home without a resident dog over 20 lbs. but he does get along well with small dogs and cats (although he does like to herd them when he gets excited). In his foster home, Doodle lives with four other dogs and two cats. He does really well with the established boundaries in his foster home and flourishes when he knows the rules and what's expected of him. In addition to regular exercise, his foster mom gives him puzzles, interactive toys and lick mats that help to keep him mentally stimulated. He is a great guard dog and very protective so he can be reactive to visitors in his home. Doodle is also selective with who he likes and tends to favor women over men so introductions to new people must be done slowly and with care. Doodle is a medium size dog, weighing in at 35 lbs., is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He is an amazing guy and we know his perfect home is out there. Doodle is looking for a quite home with no children where he would prefer to be the only dog. He needs an owner who has owned a herding breed before and is up for the challenge of owning a high energy, intelligent dog. Is it you?
