He does very well at our public events. Recycled Rescues are previously adopted dogs who, through no fault of their own, need a chance to start over in a new home.  Recycled dogs come with significant advantages; many are well socialized and have good house manners. Some are a little older and less exuberant; all have a known history to help us choose the perfect home.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 8, 2024, 6:31 pm

Story
Message for a loving individual willing to work with a previously abused dog. Dude came to us one day. He hung around all day then when we got home the traffic was getting heavy so we opened our gate and he has been there since. From how he acts he seems to have been abused. When we attempt to put him on a leash its like he has PTSD. He does not want a leash, harness or dog house. Big adult males seem to intimate him. He is a complete different dog with kids, other dogs, and females, so playful. Unfortunately we dont know his history. We did have him checked by animal control he is not neutered and not chipped, at the time he was checked out there was no room in any shelter. We hope someone can help this dog thrive and be happy, with therapy, we unfortunately do not have the means.

Story
Ramona is one of those great pups (5 months) who is just so very curious and interested in what people are doing! Seriously, she always has an adorable and quizzical expression, and she's always ready for a walk, some play time, or some snacks. (Hey, aren't we all?) We believe this tri-colored girl is some sort of mix of Border Collie and Cattle Dog. She came to The Cat House on the Kings after being thrown from a moving car and getting an injured paw in the process. (She's all better now, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated, too!) She weighs about 20ish pounds (we hate to ask a woman her exact weight, after all) and we anticipate she will be a medium-sized girl when fully grown. Like all teenagery-puppies, she would benefit from some training, plenty of space, and lots of toys+playtime. More information & application [ts=1731628997&src=aap]
