Snoop is 1/2 border collie, 1/2 Doberman pincher. He is fully house trained and incredibly well behaved. Snoop is a highly intelligent dog and is great for emotional support. He is very beneficial for someone who needs a companion and he also loves and need someone around. Snoop walks himself off the leash, he doesn’t go into streets, cross without permission or leave the property. We have never had any issues with Snoop chewing or damaging anything in the home. He is almost 5 years of age and due to a relocation of work we are unable to take him with us. We would like snoop to go to a loving home.

Sila was acquired as a gift from my family. She is a beautiful border collie with tons of energy. She is about 1 year old and weighs under 25 pounds. She is a sweet girl who loves to play and seeks attention. Unfortunately, my schedule is very demanding and I am unable to care for Sila and provide her the appropriate exercise and attention she requires. She is not house trained and does not walk appropriately on a leash. She will require an experienced person who is patient and can teach her these skills. Sila needs a loving home and environment where she can be provided plenty of attention/play and daily exercise, preferably a home with a very large outside yard so that Sila has plenty of room to run freely. If you are considering adopting, please look into the exercise requirements of a border collie before bringing her home as this breed can quickly develop behavior problems if not appropriately trained and cared for.

Want to add a great gal to your pack? This gal is very sweet. People friendly, and seems good with kids (spent time with a 6 year old and 3 year old and she was asking for pets. Excited to meet them). She weighs about 33 pounds and is about 9/10 months. She should be around 35-38 pounds at full grown. She is mostly potty trained (just needs reinforcement), and is learning to be in a crate. She is a typical young gal that just needs love and some training. She has not met a cat but I would guess she would probably not be the best fit as she is highly focused on small animals (i.e, birds, lizards, squirrels) on walks. On walks, she is cautious when meeting dogs but with a proper introduction, I think she would be OK. Please help this gal and add her to your family pack.

Lucky may not be like our usual GLAR recruits (as in tiny, and often of the chihuahua variety ) but we are so glad to help her just the same. One of our fantastic volunteers has been fostering her alone without the help of a rescue, and needs more help making sure Lucky is seen! Lucky is 7 months old, weighs approximately 30lbs, and has all the zest for life (think Buddy the Elf ). She is some sort of Border Collie mix and is beautiful! She has all the puppy energy and needs a job. (As a result, we will only consider applicants who have experience with working breeds, and those who can provide a plan to help ensure Lucky’s needs will be met.) Lucky is fully vaccinated and will be microchipped and spayed prior to adoption. She is anxiously awaiting her forever person to form that special bond.
