Story
KeeKee was slated for Euthanasia and when her number hit the list at the shelter we had a supporter step up to help us save her on Mother's Day! She's a ball of energy and housebroken, crate trained and good with kitties and dogs. We are working on rules, boundaries and limitations and she is doing great. She just needs her new place to call home. If interested in adoption contact Barbara Rescue Director at NorCal Freedom for Paws at (916) 582-2771. October 25, 2024, 12:30 pm

Story
Meet Jerry, a distinguished 10-year-old Border Collie mix with a youthful spirit and a heart full of love to share! Jerry might have a touch of salt and pepper in his fur, but don’t let his age fool you—this fun-loving guy still delights in a good game of fetch and is always ready to show off his classic Border Collie focus and stare.Jerry is a gentleman in every sense of the word. He keeps his kennel impeccably clean, leading us to believe he’s house-trained, and he walks beautifully on leash, making strolls with him a joy. With his calm and quiet energy, Jerry would make the perfect companion for someone looking for a dog who’s past the puppy antics but still has plenty of life and love to give. Now is Jerry’s time to shine, and he deserves to be spoiled in his golden years. Whether it’s a comfy bed to snooze on, some tasty treats, or endless games of fetch, Jerry will thrive in a home where he can finally relax and soak up all the affection he’s been waiting for.Ready to meet your new best friend? Jerry’s wagging tail and sweet demeanor can’t wait to greet you!Jerry has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home.  Looking for a buddy for your dog?  Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we`re a match!  Check out his playgroup video here:To meet me, visit the Bradshaw Animal Shelter Tuesday-Sunday, Noon - 5:00 pm, Wednesdays, Noon - 6:00 pm. Story
4-year-old sweet, energetic, and eager-to-please boy. Loves curling up next to you on the couch, running, hiking, fetch, etc. He is a "Velcro dog" who loves to follow you around your house and property, and keep tabs on where you are. Very people-oriented. He loves small dogs (male/female) and calm/gentle large female dogs, but he's more of a people dog than a dog dog, so he could live in a home without other dogs too. He would love to live on acreage/property, or with a very active owner who has a yard. Great in the car. Housebroken and crate trained. Knows a lot of commands and tricks, and is extremely intelligent, so he could learn almost anything you want to teach him.

Story
Wario is a 10 year old Border Collie who acts like a 3 year old. Still has all the energy he had at a young age, really athletic smart and loving dog. He’s been been such a great dog, I got him for free off of Craigslist at 3 months. I would love for him to go to a home that can give him all the attention he needs and desires, maybe even someone with another dog.
