Story
We're blessed to have had Jaxx for 7 years, he just turned 8 in October. We would love to find him a home with a senior seeking a companion, a couple, a person with another dog, or a family. Jaxx is incredibly patient and kind. We have 2 young children and he has been nothing but sweet despite their playful curiosities that sometimes end in accidental tugs. Unfortunately my youngest daughter has an allergy we've tried everything for and we're unable to keep him, but we're optimistic he will find the perfect home with you. As I said, Jaxx is incredibly patient with kids, does great with other dogs at the dog park, and walks/jogs well on a leash (though not as fast as when he was a younger dog). He would love to snuggle in bed with you if you desire that, however, if that is not comfortable for you, he is also so happy on his own comfy bed. He has an incredible ability to attune and understand what the house rules are (i.e.- kitchen is a boundary, etc.) and is an emotional companion

Story
PO is a beautiful 10 month old pup with 2 different color eyes and a curly tail. He is up to date on his shots but not yet neutered. He is very energetic and Loves to play. PO needs more exercise, attention and training than he is able to get in his current situation. PO is crate trained but he is in his crate a lot and needs someone who can spend more time with him. He needs to be monitored when not in his crate as he gets into everything but he is a still just a puppy even though he’s a big pup. He will have a potty accident if not out long enough to do his business. We are really hoping there is someone who can give him the home that he needs.

Story
We got lily as kind of a temporary foster from another lady. We quickly determined she has likely suffered abuse at some point and didn't feel comfortable giving her back. We considered keeping her, but my daughter and I are severely allergic to her (unlike our other dogs), so it's unsustainable to keep her. She is s very sweet dog, very calm, does fine with all our other animals and our 4 kids. She knows few command and wasn't house trained, but we have house trained her, crate trained her, trained her with a dog door, and taught her simple commands (we have had her less than a month). She is a very smart dog and very sweet. She clearly has anxiety related to prior treatment and is afraid of tall/heavier set people. She quickly bonded with my daughter though and sleeps with her at night. She growls when new people come near but once she smells them she calms down.

Story
We told Vanilla Ice that we were going to take his picture so we can post him online so we can find him a new family. His response was to go play in the biggest mud puddle he could find! Then he said, "I'm ready, let's do this!"  Vanilla Ice was picked up by animal control, living under a manufactured home in a nearby town with his siblings. Best guess is that he is a heeler/husky cross by looking at him and his siblings. We never saw his mom so it is just a best guess. The whole litter was very shy, and we had to put in some extra work to get them to be friendly and social with humans and they are doing great now. They are ready to find their new homes now. They are current on their vaccinations, deworms, microchipped and have been fixed. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Do not e-mail us with a request to call you, if you have a question please ask in the e-mail.   All dog are adopted on a first come - first served basis. Story
Hi, I'm Lily, and I'm looking for a new home. I'm a sweet and friendly dog who loves to play and cuddle. I'm about 3 years old, but I still have a lot of energy and curiosity. I get along well with other dogs, big and small, and I don't mind cats or children either. I'm very loyal and affectionate, and I'll always be by your side. I was turned into the pound by my previous owners, and I don't know why. Maybe they couldn't take care of me anymore, or maybe they didn't love me enough. It was very scary and sad, but luckily I was rescued by the kind people at Central Arizona Animal Rescue. They took good care of me, and made sure I was spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. I already know some basic commands and I am am pretty good with my manners, and I think I'm doing pretty well. I'm not sure if I'm house trained, I think I am but I'm willing to learn and please you. I'm ready to start a new life with a loving family who will cherish me and never abandon me. I promise to be a good girl and a faithful companion. If you're looking for a furry friend who will brighten up your days and warm up your nights, please e-mail mike@caaronline.org to set up an appointment and come and meet me. I can't wait to see you and give you a big kiss. PLEASE e-mail (do not call) mike@caaronline.org for more information and to set up an appointment to adopt. Story
Hello, world! I'm Buckley, a 1-year-old red heeler mix with a little extra wiggle in my walk, thanks to something called cerebellar hypoplasia (or CH for short). Now, CH might sound fancy, but all it really means is that I have a unique swagger—think of me as your own personal, four-legged dance partner. My walk might be wobbly, but I don’t let it slow me down one bit! I was rescued from a tough situation, but those days are behind me. Now, I’m living the good life in my foster home, where I’m thriving and showing off my joyful personality every single day. Sure, I might take a tumble now and then—especially when I'm super excited—but I always bounce back with a smile (and maybe a little help from my friends). The best part? My condition isn’t contagious, and it won’t get any worse. I’m self-sufficient and love doing all the things a young pup should—running, playing, eating, and even riding in the car. I’m a pro at walking on a leash, I get along great with other dogs, and I absolutely adore kids. I sleep soundly in my crate at night and don’t need any special medications, just a little patience and a lot of love. I’m looking for a special family who can see past my wobbles and into my heart. If you’re ready to embrace my quirks and help me live my best life, I promise to fill your days with endless joy and plenty of puppy love. So, what do you say? Ready to let me wobble my way into your heart? Buckley is 38lbs, neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. We offer meet and greet with trial run before adoption so you can see how it will work out before deciding to adopt - no pressure, no risk. Visit cooperschance.org for online application.   All Cooper’s Chance adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, UTD on shots, heartworm negative, de-wormed, micro chipped and housebroken. If you are interested in adopting this pet, please visit our website at cooperschance.org for additional information. We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.October 28, 2024, 12:56 pm
