Story
Horton is a pitch black Bombay male who was a stary wandering around. He had ingested a bone but is all better now! He is the sweetest cat and loves to have his tongue out! His estimated date of birth is 2/3/2015. Horton is super friendly and hopes to find a loving home soon!   We want to make adopting easy for you! Here’s our application:   https://form.jotform.com/232837730565159  Once you complete it, we’re on it! We’ll call your vet (or personal reference) the next business day. Then we like to do a brief video chat (FaceTime if you have it) so you can show us your new pet’s home - where they’ll sleep, eat, and play. During our chat, we can also give you tips or answer questions about how to successfully integrate your new family member into your household, especially if you have other pets. Our adoption fee is $150 and covers our costs of spay/neuter, vaccinations, vet exam, and supplies. (Once old enough, all our cats are current on their shots and have been spayed/neutered.) We’re a strictly no-kill shelter just for cats. We’re cage-free, donation-based, and volunteer-powered. We’re small but special and we’re glad you found us! For more info don’t hesitate to call or text us at  540-987-6050  or email us at adopt@rappcats.org. April 9, 2025, 12:10 pm

Story
Loki is a 3 year old Bombay. He does exceptionally well with dogs, he just doesn’t get along very well with other cats. It can take him time to warm up to you, but when he does he loves your company. He loves pets, not so much being held. He will most likely sleep in your bed every night with you and he just loves hanging out with you!

Story
Sweet Melvin is as friendly as they get. He is FIV and FELV positive, but healthy and does not need to be on medication to maintain his health. He would be best suited as an 'only-child' in your home or homed with another cat of the same diseases so as to not infect another healthy cat. Melvin has a long, happy life ahead of him and he just needs that forever home to give him the daily love that he deserves with space to roam. Come for a visit today to find your forever fur-baby! We hope you choose Melvin!
