Meet Bartleby, a black cat with major main character energy and a potbelly he proudly flaunts. He sits like a little old man—hunched over, deep in thought (probably about snacks or world domination). Bartleby is endlessly curious and always plotting his next great “outdoor expedition.” One time, he sat staring through closed blinds for ten full minutes, absolutely convinced he could will them open with sheer stubbornness. He’s mischievous but sweet—an expert snuggler who insists on climbing right up under your chin, and he’ll throw in a nose-to-nose boop if he’s feeling extra cute. He also loves his fancy water fountain, though he’ll never turn down a good old-fashioned sip from the tap. I’m looking to rehome Bartleby due to some life changes—family allergies and plans to travel—but this hilarious little shadow deserves a home where he’ll get all the laughs, love, and attention he gives in return. 💝

Chandler is solid black with beautiful gold eyes, like Bombays. He plays hard with his buddy Mousetro for short periods of time and then seeks out affection and cuddles from the foster mom. He is sweet and laid back. He would do well with someone who is home a lot. He hasn't been around dogs or young children. He has been best buddies with Mousetro since they were only weeks old, so we'd like to see them go to the same home. Chandler is currently in a foster home. Animal Services has new operating hours! We will now be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and closed Friday through Sunday. In addition to these hours, we will be available after-hours, including Fridays and Saturdays, by appointment. Along with our new hours, all Wednesday adoptions are now by appointment only to allow our staff more time to prepare for Thursday vax-shacks and surgery days.Adoption fees for dogs are $100.00 (unless otherwise noted), which includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, and worming. Pen is an amazingly sweet overweight pampered princess of a cat who loves to demand attention, and cuddels. She has the most adorable wobble as she walks, and will deffinatly let you know when the food bowl is empty with a very sweet meow. While she is not great with kids, she tends more to ignoring their general existence, however would be a great companion for an older more calm child. Penumbra is not fond of dogs however she leaves them alone as long as they leave her alone, with an occasional hiss.

Charly is a wonderfully playfull boy who is learning to play fetch with nerf balls, he hasn't quite got to the point of fully coming back with the toy, however he is getting there. He has been allowing our 10 year old son carry him around, and loves playing a gentel game of tag as we are going upstairs, where he will run up behind us and gently tap the back of our heals. Charley was found in our front yard abandoned, and has been to the vet for all checkups, vaccines, and neutered.
